I'm expecting Saturday's bench to be by some distance the most expensive we have ever fielded (certainly for a league game).
With Westwood, Brady, JBG on there, we're looking at around £20 million quid of talent. If Defour makes it onto the bench, nigh on £30 million.

I reckon Brady will start, in place of Defour from Tuesday night's team.

Can see Brady starting on the left if defour is out

Which is probably why all your fans are perplexed that you're now a debt-ridden basket case.

I think that would be entirely unfair on Arfield, who was absolutely outstanding on Tuesday night when he came on - as good as Hendrick and Barton for my money, our entire performance changed when he came on - and therefore send the wrong message to the squad. I'll be extremely surprised if Arfield doesn't get the nod.

He was better than a hamstrung Defour playing out of position, certainly. I thought Scott did well, and obviously he knows the position inside out. But if Dyche has spent £13m to 'upgrade' on him, I reckon there's a chance Brady will start. I wouldn't be surprised anyway.

He did do well, however Dyche preferred to start with Defour playing out of position. I'd expect Brady to start.

Scotty should start in an away match. He works back well with Ward.
Brady can come on if needed and have a week or so to settle in.

Few people saying that Arfield should start away as he works hard and helps us defensively. Hardly been successful in first half of the season though. Brady is potentially the kind of player that we need to drive us forward and help us attack teams on the break. He's been playing left back for Norwich too so I presume he is adequate at defending too. Something needs to change.

let me try again..... if I was Dyche I wouldn't have him anywhere near the field on Saturday. He's got the whole "Dyche-fit" reputation to preserve, and there ain't no fecker that's arriving in the squad that doesn't need to be "Dyched" and that includes Messi himself!

Scotty is a great lad and for obvious reasons will go down in BFC folklore.
But, in football terms, he has serious limitations and even on Tuesday he was outstandingly average.
Brady straight in.

I'd expect Brady or JBG in for Defour and that's it. Can't drop Hendrick or Barton.

I would think the midfield 4 will be Boyd, Barton, Hendrick, Arfield,
Gudmundsson, Westwood and Brady on the bench.

You don't spend all that money on Brady to stick him on the bench, lad is a full blown International with 2 seasons worth of PL experience not some up and coming kid or someone from a lower league - get him straight in. Watford will know exactly what to expect from Arfield in our team, maybe less so from Brady

New men in, start on the bench. That's the way it is. Price tag should mean nothing. The 'group' demands that shirts have to be earned and players not dropped without good reason.

Watford felt we bullied then at the Turf so will be out to get us back so we'll need Dyche fit players who know the system inside out - I'd play Arfield and bring Brady on near the end

Let's get real. Burnley have the worst away record in the football league. If no changes are made then this will continue. Must go for (usual defence)
Gudmundsson Barton Hendrick Brady
Gray Barnes
Come on Sean be brave!

Our away performances have been steadily improving. If we were to win with Brady starting we'd have everyone (well not really everyone) saying that he was the main reason we'd won. Our regular group members deserve the chance to put things right first. Nothing wrong with Brady coming on after 60 minutes or whenever Sean thinks is the right time.

The other lads have had 10 chances to put it right.
Brady was bought for big money as a clear upgrade on what we have. Get him in!

Cant wait to see Brady and Westwood play, but I should think it will be the team that started Tuesday, with Scotty in for Defour.
I expect Brady will get at least the last 15 mins, especially if we happen to be chasing the game.

He will be benched simply because he has to earn his place. If Defour had to prove his worth so will Brady. You can't just disregard Boyd, Arfield or Guðmundsson. What message does that bring?
Do we want a Payet situation? That's exactly why Dyche makes sure the players know they are employed by Burnley. There's no player bigger than his club and that would even be the case for the likes of Blackburn Rovers...believe it or not. We're just lucky to have a manager strong enough to enforce that.
