Bournemouth to get relegated?
Currently on a bad run of form with only two centre-backs and they've just announced that Callum Wilson has done his ACL. Think they could easily slip down.

I don't think Swansea or CP are going down , so someone is going to slide. I think and hope it is Boro, but it is anyone's guess.

So Boro fans are amusing at the minute, so to are Leicester's judging from that poll recently about getting rid of Ranieri.

Re: Bournemouth to get relegated?
Looking at the table, it's hard to pick 3 to go down. Sunderland look like a hamster in a wheel - going nowhere fast. The rest all have enough to get out of the scrap.
Re: Bournemouth to get relegated?
Mourinho was sacked the season after winning the title due to poor form, why should ranieri be bulletproof? Leicester are a big club now..

Bournemouth you can get odds as high as 25/1, best price on us is 18/1.
Best price on Leicester is 5/1.

Re: Bournemouth to get relegated?
Can't see Bournemouth going down, even given their current issues. They're on 26 points already and I'd say 35 will probably be enough this year so 3 wins from 15 games is more than doable.
If they get 35 points it means four of the bottom six will need to suddenly change their form dramatically. None of them are averaging a point a game so far this season, yet they would need to achieve this to stand any chance of survival. One or two might, but not four.
If I had to guess at this point I'd say Sunderland, Hull and Boro personally. Although I genuinely think Hull can get out of it; this new manager has a great record and a fresh approach for the PL.

Re: Bournemouth to get relegated?
Mourinho had lost the dressing room, Ranieri has just lost Vardy and Mahrez(Kante having been sold from under him), he'd have been better off if they'd been sold as well.Saxoman wrote:Mourinho was sacked the season after winning the title due to poor form, why should ranieri be bulletproof? Re: Bournemouth to get relegated?
They looked uninterested Tuesday, mahrez especially. If they think they can go through the motions and stay up, they will be in trouble.lesxdp wrote:so someone is going to slide. I think and hope it is LEICESTER
Re: Bournemouth to get relegated?
They alongside a few others (ourselves included) could still get dragged down
into a scrap especially if they go on a bad run over the next 5 or 6 games.
They've got some tricky games coming up (Everton, West Brom and Man U away
Man City West Ham & Swansea at home I think) so if they only pick up a few points from those
they'll probably be down in the mix.
Hope not as they've played some good football this season and I like Eddie.
I think he did a good job for us and brought in some decent players.

Want Bournemouth down, can't stand managers like howe with their gung ho football. A very very poor tactition.
Crystal palace will pull clear under the wonderfully talented Sam allardyce.

Re: Bournemouth to get relegated?
I disagree, I think taking an awful League Two side under a transfer embargo to the PL is a remarkable achievement regardless of who it's done by. I understand it's Howe and he won't get credit on here but it's a little unfair on him to downplay his achievement imo.Sidney1st wrote:So Boro fans are amusing at the minute, so to are Leicester's judging from that poll recently about getting rid of Ranieri.

I personally have nothing against Howe but if you believe he took a poor League Two side to the PL then you as so many others have swallowed the media fairytale.KRBFC wrote:I disagree, I think taking an awful League Two side under a transfer embargo to the PL is a remarkable achievement regardless of who it's done by. Hope Hull stay up, fancy 3 from Sunderland, Leicester, Boro, Bournemouth, Palace. Like most on here, don't mind Boro fans who in my opinion are not much different than us, it's the manager who's a complete dick

Their south coast neighbours look to be in a bit of trouble too. No central defenders - Fonte sold, van Dijk crocked. They could go into free-fall!

Re: Bournemouth to get relegated?
I'd say he's lost more than just Vardy and Mahrez. I think the entire team has lost the plot. Their shape in the second half was as bad as any team I can remember all season. We had 2v1 on the wings so often, and without the pace of Vardy / Mahrez, or the fouling of Huth / Morgan from set plays, I couldn't see any way of them scoring. The only player who seemed to do his job properly was Albrighton. Looked dangerous going forward, put Lowton under pressure, and tracked back. And he got taken off. On another day it could have been 3-0. It was a bit like watching a mid table championship team. A few decent players, the odd superstar, a defence who can't deal with pace or skill, and a whole bunch of naivety when it comes to getting results. The big difference between us and them are the last 2 points. Especially at home. Take that mentality into away games, and I'll be a happy man.minnieclaret wrote:Mourinho had lost the dressing room, Ranieri has just lost Vardy and Mahrez(Kante having been sold from under him), he'd have been better off if they'd been sold as well.
As for Bournemouth getting relegated... Hull and Swansea look like they can pick up results, and I wouldn't bet against Sam at CP. Leicester, Boro and Bournemouth should be very cautious. Having said that, I think us and Watford still have work to do. I have assumed Sunderland are doomed (but who knows), and I would put Saints and WHU as being too good to go down.. But this battle isn't over by a long shot.

I think the bottom three at the end of the season will come from the current bottom six. I suspect the rest, from Bournemouth upwards, should be safe.

Schmeichel still cares. He's a very good keeper who, let's face it, started his career on a complete loser (given who is father is). He took time to learn his trade, but then most keepers do, but he has done extremely well IMO.
