I agree 4-4-2 just doesn't work away, strikers get no service and they are too far away from the midfield.

It should be 4-5-1 with Vokes up top with Gray to come on at 6o mins.

May struggle to play that formation now the midfield is decimated though!

I live in wonder that ablueclaret hasn't been offered a job as tactical genius at one of the leading clubs or national teams. He has obviously way more nous than Sean Dyche or any of his team. We tried playing 4-5-1 away from home earlier in the season, and rapidly concluded that we were a much better team when we had the pace of Gray up front to really stretch teams.

4-4-2 suits our players better than any other formation, and so it is the correct formation to use. The only thing wrong today was that we got a man sent off after 5 minutes.
