There’s another Burnley connection on BBC news, with Ben Thompson being a Burnley lad. No idea if he’s a claret, but he’s mentions his roots numerous times.

Met him at Uni in Leeds. I am from Slough but I recognised his accent(it's a bit different now) and asked if he was a claret. We have been mates ever since.

His dads a season ticket holder and his sister is often at away matches so I suspect that even if he doesn’t go regularly, if asked he would be a Claret.
