Aitor Throup exhibition

Post by Leon_C » Tue Sep 30, 2025 10:26 pm

For those with an interest in 'casual' wear and terrace culture - designer Aitor Throup has an exhibition at The Empire, from 30 October to 2 November.

For those not familiar with his work, he is an Argentinian fashion designer, who grew up and continued to work in Burnley. He has worked with Stone Island, CP Company, G-STAR etc etc etc. Quite the back catalogue.

Never knew those Umbro kits were made by a Burnley lad. Looks a good exhibition.

I knew a Stuart Throup from Burnley. Don't suppose there's any connection?

I remember seeing him at Reading away, in the play off 2nd leg
My mate who's into his fashion pointed him out, he had a CP coat and UGG boots on.

If you see when the tickets are released, please bump Leon.

Like to see the venue restored one day, like the fashion he's been involved in, like that the town has been part of his upbringing.

My fashionista mates have pointed him out on match day a few times too 😁
