Well we have got four consecutive away games starting end of February and all of March. We may manage to win one of those, although by this time we may already be doomed.mohamed69 wrote:I will also bet that we will win away. How much longer did my odds get after today?

We will if SD sets the team up to take on a Premier League side not a Championship one.

Re: We wont win away all season
we will win at hull but we will struggle to win anymore aways. a few draws could well see us stay up HOPEFULLY
Re: We wont win away all season
I maybe in a minority, but I like the fact Dyche is prepared to try different players and formations. He will get it right away sooner or later, who knows maybe at West Ham or even Spurs. At last the opposition has no real clue as to the formation or starting eleven. It is good for all players who know they have a chance of starting and when our Icelandic Dynamo is back fit we will be on the up....UTC

Well, it wasn't at West Ham.
Hopefully at Spuds. And with Defour starting.

We are playing like we don't believe we are capable of getting anything away from home. Too much timidity yet again.
Awful performance against an awful team

As stated above. We've give a team just above the drop enough points to be overtaking us come the next match.
There is absolutely no belief in their game. Quite frankly, we could be playing Scunthorpe away and we'd still bottle it in the PL.

Re: We wont win away all season
We couldn't even beat Accy Stanley away from home, we're honestly just not very good at all. The football is absolutely hideous stuff, Iv seen more composure and quality on the ball up Townley park on a Sunday. HOOF HOOF HOOF just w*nk, Dyches constant whinging at the fourth officials is about as embarrassing as his hapless tactics, subs and style of play. Bamford got a full 50 seconds, desperation from a manager way out of his depth. You either give the lad a chance and go for it or you don't bother at all. wtf is he supposed to do in 50 seconds? laughable
Re: We wont win away all season
I expect Spurs will tear us a new one. To have not scored a goal in open play In all these away games is pathetic. Losing is one thing if you are competing but we are not not and look clueless.
Re: We wont win away all season
Oh and West Ham were the worst side we've played all season, their keeper made 1 save from a crap free kick? 10 shots on target away from home all season.

Re: We wont win away all season
That was by far the worst side we have faced so far this season and still could not get anything from the game
And you have to blame the management for this, tactics were completely out of sync the mentality wasn't their to see the shape balance service winning second balls was all one big cock up

Presently not much different from 2009-10 season but we have played one more home game and one fewer away games.

Re: We wont win away all season
Have to agree with KRBFC. We can't complete two passes in a row, usually, and when we do, it ends up on the foot of Matt Lowton, and, well, we all know what happens then. I thought that yesterday's game cried out for Defour, since they lacked pace up front, and with Defour there's actually a good chance that the pass will end up on target.

Another away game and same old same old hoof hoof hoof we have no composure at all just get the ball and boot it as far as possible its like pin ball just comes back and back. We are so awful to watch its horrible. We never looked like getting anything today its lucky we got Tottenham on an off day.
Gray was chasing shadows all game poor lad. The back four but more Ward and Lowton just smack it firward everytime never look for a pass. The midfield are out of their league.
Also why did it take 80 mins to make a sub ? We lack options badly. We need some pace.
Boring boring Burnley

Re: We wont win away all season
Most of our players arent good enough.Heaton,Keane,Mee & Defour are the only ones that possibly would get into other teams in this league.
For us to win we have to be playing our 100% best and hope the other team has abit of an off day.
Out effort and work rate is no match for genuine ability.
Sad but true.

we have to be better than 3 other teams over the season, we aren't far away. Dyche and the board have to go all out in January, no room for one single excuse on this occasion

Awful tactically today from Dyche. He doesnt have a clue away from home. Arfield in CM ? If it was us that went down to 10 men they would of scored 5 you couldnt tell they had 10 men.
And before clueless posters talk about how we was playing against one of the 'European Elite' dont be silly City are average with a poor defence. We just invite pressure constantly.

Re: We wont win away all season
Like the home match, 2 defensive lapses have cost us.
Not the tactics just the gulf in quality if you ask me.
City again got the bounce of the ball, like quality sides usually do.
I would like to see Grays to chances again. One looked a pen and he was pulled back ( shoulder ) and the other looked a great chance that he sliced wide.
We played ok today, and there a 3/4 poorer sides in this league.
If we stay up its objective achieved.
Couldn't care less where the points come from nor who against.

I can only assume you've only been supporting a few years and haven't had to witness a truly horrible time in our history. Losing 2-1 away at Arsenal is far far better than being 3-0 down after 15 minutes away at Southend. Jesus ******* wept
