We wont win away all season

Im going to throw this out there i really dont think we will win away ALL season and it will cost us our place in this league. We cant stay up on home form alone.

We may get another 1 or 2 draws if we are lucky but it doesnt look good after absolute hidings away at West Brom,Southampton,Leicester,Chelsea. Non of these performances make me even think we have a glimour of an away win. Yes we got a very very LUCKY point at Man Utd but on another day they would of had 5.

Although i do believe if we change the way we play away from home and try have a do instead of setting up defensive then we may get 1 or 2 wins at the lesser teams. But Dyche isnt ever going to change how we play away from home just set up to invite pressure go 1-0 down then crumble as usual.

We also lack speed we dont have any except Gray who is wasting away on the bench. Feel sorry for him just because he doesnt fit in with Dyches hoofball he leaves the Championships top scorer on the bench when we are crying out for goals. We have become so awful and boring to watch its painful.

Will we ever win away ?

Curiously, the OP began with the definitive statement 'We won't win away all season' but then concluded with 'Will we ever win away?' I feel a sense of hope still remains.

I am more than capable of making idiotic statements, but the op could easily trump anything i could offer.
We will win away from home, but knowing our luck it will probably coincide with a loss of home form. :D

Nonsense it's a funny old game anything could happen and we will probably win the away game we are dreading the most and the prediction is an absolute thumping for the Clarets!

Hoof ball?

You sound exactly like the rovers fans on fb who're making the same claims.

As for UTD could've had 5, I doubt it, they could've carried on playing for 2 full games and still not scored, such was the quality of Heatons goal keeping along with the efforts of the rest of the team.

I am happy to take that bet on.
All winnings to be donated to charity.

Why do people think like that?
I just get behind the team every game and hope for a good result !
What's the point in writing us off already...

Same here - I honestly think we'll beat Stoke on Saturday and I will be putting my usual bet on. Winnings will be donated to Mr. Coral or my good self.
You bet against Burnley, toptier, if you have no confidence in the team, that's up to you.

In a perverse way its what makes some people happy odd as it sounds.

Or they're a rovers fan, but even Saxo has predicted we will be fine.

Eddie the unfortunate part of the message board is that I typed the reply in response to the op, however it landed underneath your post and you have read it as a response to your post.
My response was to the op and anyone else who believes that we will not win away all season, I am happy to take that bet on, any winnings accrued by me will be donated to charity.

OP makes a couple of valid points re. Gray and the way we set up away from home, and awful and boring to watch that it is painful. That is certainly true away from home. Best part about away games this season thus far has been three or four pints pre match.

Answering the OP, I think we will win at least 2 from the following away games, Stoke, West Ham, Watford, Hull, Swansea, Boro and Palace. Plus another 1 from the remainder. Those 9 points will help keep us up. UTC

The OP is projecting not predicting. If it continues as it is we will not win etc.If football was like this my Dad and I would have been pools millionaires many times over and there would be no bookmakers left. The win could come when you least expect such as Arsenal Liverpool etc. That's how football works

Under Coyle we got 1 win & 1 draw all season. (Hull & Man City)

Two years ago we got 3 wins and 5 draws. Weren't Man City going for their 10th win in a row when we drew 2-2? Goes to show that there are strange results when you least expect them.

And Leicester are as unlikely to win away all season based on their current form. (Drawn 1, lost 5)

The crux of our situation I believe is down to what business we are able to do in January. 2/3 players of real quality and we have a chance.

I would take 3 wins and 5 draws away from home again. With the 14 points we already have, including the 1 point away, that would give us 27 in total. We probably therefore need another 4 wins at home to be pretty certain of staying up, which seems achievable to me.

No I don't smoke anything, but do seriously believe we can get 3 away wins. SD now has the experience to put things right in 3 away games and get those 9 points. UTC

I wish I could share your optimism, however I think three wins away is a very tall order based on what we have served up so far.

Both of course would be nicer - and quite possible, perhaps, with Gray and Barnes up top.

We're certainly not the team away from home that we are at home. If we don't sort out a way to scratch just a few results away from the Turf this season, then frankly we are doomed to another 'close, but no cigar' season.

I don't think Iv ever seen a team so incapable of passing a football on the floor.

panic hoof concede panic hoof concede panic panic hoof panic concede

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ the worst Burnley side to watch I have ever seen and that includes the side under Cotterill.

You mean when we played our best against an average Man City team and still got beat ?
Then people on this joke of a board say we just played a world class team as good as Barca or Bayern ?? Hahahaha Man City are not world class. Barcelona would put 9 past us.

No we are most certainly not the same team. The difference in how we approach away games and home games is staggering. poor tactics away from home and it needs sorting quickly other wise the OP's prediction is likely to be correct.

Also vital that we strengthen appropriately in January our midfield today is a Championship one.

I was calling bullish!t to the statement that watching us last week against Man City was worse than watching us under Cotterill.

In fact I'd say whoever says that can't possibly have attended Turf Moor for any of the 19 match run without a win.

Seems like Mr Coral has cashed in again. Have you still got the same confidence in the team after yet another poor away performance?
However decent we are at home we ain't gonna get 35 plus points from our home games, so another 9 points probably required away from home. I can't for the life of me see where we are going to get them from.
