Arrived in the post? First cap??

Whilst delighted for Tom, to have your first cap sent in the post seems a bit **** to me. Would like to think something so momentous would be dealt with better. Maybe a presentation at Lancaster Gate? Maybe a pre-match presentation by an FA representative?

Being selected to play for England is MASSIVE. It should be treated as such.

It looks like the rain is just going to soak straight through that. Not ideal for this time of year.

Tom Heaton checks his post...
"10% off a DHS on all sofa beds and furniture"
"It's the penny sale at Holland and Barrett!"
"Well done on your first England international cap".

Common as muck for rovers..

The last international debut that really pleased me was Colin Hendry(when Scotland were decent). It really meant something to him you felt and was long overdue at 28yrs old(?)..

However, we can survive without oil, submarine bases and England and still give free tution fees, care for the elderly and fryed mars bars all round. Up the kankies.

And pay for the wall and keep the pound and the Barnett formula.

Andy goram, Richard Gough, Gary McAllister, Ally mccoist, gordan durie all part of the set up? Not too shabby..
