It really is staggering when you take a look: http://www.oddschecker.com/football/eng ... relegation" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Burnley are typically 3/1 to 'be relegated' while we're 8 points clear.

That's because we were typically pre-season favourites and the typical theory with bookies is that our home form has to 'give' eventually, given there's still half a season left.

Crystal Palace are 7/2 and given where they are in the table - that seems like a good price but I always believe Big Sam will keep them up.

Middlesbrough are only 4 points clear and you can get them at 5/1 - I think there's value there?

Palace will still up. Looks like they've given big Sam the cheque book. He'll get some quality in

The 16s offered for West Ham is the stand out bet.

A side in turmoil but disguised with the 3 wins in a row against us who were at our worst, Hull who were very unlucky and Swansea who were in free fall.
They don't look to have the scrappers if they get seriously dragged into it.

Watford 6/1 and I think that is probably to best place to make some money. The Bournemouth odds are crazy. Some have them at 80/1; Stoke are around 30/1. Really?

Appears that Sunderland will not be spending much money this Jan so would think it very hard for them to stay up
Swansea and Hull are bringing players in and expect even more especially at Swansea
Palace will get some players in plus BFS was an important signing for them anyway
Our away games against these three will have a great say in whether we get drawn into the fight

I agree with post 7, except that we are aleady in the fight, given our away form.
