Poor Henri. If you go out in the woods today you're sure of a big surprise.

Once again, and I don't care if it sounds like a cliche or forelock tugging
thank Christ for our board.

Incompetence at its best at the City ground.

Well, them and Venkys. :D

I know that Hollands Pies will be gutted at this news, his second team is Notts Forrest.

And as for Rowls......

We've had problems with the Forest owner at Burnley and that's apart from his clowning around over Lansbury. Not a very pleasant man at all.

Perhaps they need a Robin Hood to raise some cash.

The deal was obviously off when they sold Landsbury to Villa

Could well end up taking Blackburn's relegation place now, unfortunately.

The new owner had Gary Rowett to come in immediately as manager but Rowett has now said he's no longer interested under the current ownership.

I hope it's not off because Moores has decided to buy the 10th most profitable club in Europe instead!!!? (Don't answer the phone or open the door for a while. leave us alone!)

Nixon now reporting that the potential new investors lent Fawaz £2.2 million to pay last month's wages, assuming their takeover was imminent. Not surprisingly they would like it back immediately...

The locals are hopping mad down here. Rowett refuses to work for Fawaz, so he's withdrawn. Now they're talking about the return of Little Billy.

Can't wait for the pub tonight

It's a serious mess and after all this they are still being run by a very distasteful man who now might have to sell a player to pay back the latest investors he's tried to stitch up.

What was seemingly a well run club under Nigel Doughty, Fawaz came in during summer 2012 and has now gone through nine managers.

They don't mention this very often, but they won the European Cup twice don't you know ...

Do you know, you learn something every day. What with that and Dave Whelan breaking his leg in a cup final.

In fairness, if we'd have had a spell like Forest did between 1977 and 1989, we'd still be going on about it.

I've heard one or two tales of our late '50s/early '60s heyday from a few of my older relatives and friends.

I was just looking at that and they've had 14 since Coyle took over as Burnley manager.

I didn't realise its been that long since they were in the top flight,1999.

They're not a Big Club anymore, that's for sure. It's taken a long time for their fans to realise this fact, mind. I suspect that it hasn't dawned on some.

Came down with our neighbours just a few miles along the M65. Forest were already down but went to Ewood on next to last Saturday of the season and won 2-1 to virtually condemn Blackburn to going down. All the results went against Blackburn that day. We were at Northampton, finally safe from the drop to the bottom division, and celebrating every goal as it went in from those Premier League games.

So just where does this leave Lansbury? It's starting to look as if he'll be stuck there forever just like the fellow in A Handfull of Dust who travels to South America to get away from things and ends up spending the rest of his days having to read Charles Dickens novels over and over again to his captor.
