Wimps need not apply

I have been really impressed with the way our players handle being fouled.
No rolling around in fake agony.
No histrionics.
No petulance in front of the Ref.
A case in point was the foul on Georgie Boyd that led to our goal. Many players from other teams would have rolled around the ground as if shot !
Burnley way... Just get on with it, Sean Dyche style ! Well done SD. Well done the players.

Yep, it's good to see in this day and age. The cheating age.
No doubt it's cost us though. But I'd still rather play with honour anyday.

That, last season, played in a big way of changing my opinion of Joey.
He was targeted time and again.
But yes. SD seems to have got it instilled all through.
My Citeh mate, on the way home from Manchester, mentioned it too.

Barnsesy is certainly no wimp, but his blustering( elbow them in the head until it almost falls off)style of combative play is hardly silky smooth is it.
I dont think we cheat though, which is refreshing in this division.

Barnes collapses like he's been hit my a steam train everytime he gets the slightest touch off a centre half at the back of him

Tbh although Sanga aiming a kick at Boyd was a red I don't think it was an hard enough kick for Boyd to drop to his knees. It was like he suddenly realised and jumped straight back up. We know the dark arts make no mistake about that

We're a lot more 'streetwise' than we've ever been. The best example this season was when Lowton or Flanagan sneaked back into Palace's half of the pitch to tie his laces after we'd scored to delay the restart.

He did go to his knees but quickly realised that the Wrath of Dyche would be upon him if he made too much of it.
Barnes is an exception to the rule. But, he is getting better than last season.
