Another United goal that should have been flagged offside.
The initial ball to Valencia was a yard offside. Think even Neville said it was.

Looked barely half a foot off on the frame they freezed on and the very next frame Valencia took a step back as the ball was played so was about as borderline as could be.

Some distance offside - not a difficult decision but the assistant was in a ridiculous position

It was offside on the frame Sky freezed it on but i noticed Valencia was moving backwards when Sky stopped the play so its so dependent on judging when exactly the ball was played fwd too him

They don't get 'Fergie' time, anymore.
They're just never offside, instead.

Just look where the assistant is - what on earth is he doing there? He can't give a decision.

it's offside and the bad decision was down to the linesmans position, only the 5 yards out of position

Watched 3 united games recentry and they've had 3 goals that have stood that have been clearly offside.
Begged belief when we struggle to get stone wall decisions.

How's a linesman supposed to give a decision when the touchline and the penalty area sideline aren't parallel? Or maybe the photo isn't all it's cracked up to be!
Just for clarity, is the moment offside is judged supposed to be the moment the ball is first touched by the foot, or the moment it leaves the foot? When you're judging to the nearest inch in freeze frame, that sort of detail does actually matter.

Technically it is the moment that the ball starts it's forward motion after the foot contacts the ball

What on earth the linesman is doing stood there is anyone's guess - he can't possibly make a decision when he's not in line. Had thenplay moved that quickly?!?!

I saw the goal and thought he was on side at first and then also when I saw Sky's replay, looking at that though the Linesman is clearly 3 yards offside
