Kev Long has had a minor bit of surgery to remove scar tissue from a knee tendon, a knock-on from his previous surgery.

Out for a good few weeks again, otherwise he'd likely have played against Sunderland it seems.

Pity, we might have been able to sell him.

Signed in 2009 28 appearances in all competitions (all but 3 in seasons 2012-2014) - one year left on his contract. Can we afford to keep him?

I thought he had just signed new contract in summer, everything went tits up for him after getting injured at Newcastle, good luck to him and his recovery, always thought he was half decent as well, hopefully would have done microsurgery on him, so just 2-3 holes.

All that sitting down on the bench, kills your knees in time.
