Buried in an article about how bad Claudio Bravo has been this season is a piece of research by Opta which surmises that Tom Heaton has been the best performing goalie this season in terms of shot-stopping.
Another thing to be proud of

He's been a brilliant signing for us.
Well remember the ranting from some about signing a crap goalie from a relegated team.
Surely first name on the team sheet these days.

I would hope so he's the Captain!

Didn't Opta also highly recommend Brian Laws? TH is brilliant best keeper I've seen play for Burnley don't need Opta to tell me that

Thats a very interesting read. Heaton is far and away the End No 2 (and that's giving Hart his dues as the long term incumbent) No suprise that comedy keeper Bravo is bottom of the lot,you also gotta take into account City a team of high class Internationals and didnt excatky pick their defence on Hackney marshes

That is a good read. We all know Tom has made more saves, however, the expectancy versus the actual conceded leaves him way ahead of the rest.
Bravo has looked horrendous lately behind that flip flop City defence.
England's outright number one.

Doesn't surprise me. He's the 2nd highest scoring keeper in fantasy football - just 1 point behind Courtois!

Would have been nice of the BBC to also publish an article on how Tom Heaton is no.1 goalkeeper in the premier league.
