2017 is going to be a great year for reissues for us old timers.

3 of my favourite albums are 50 this year.
The Doors debut, Sgt Pepper and Something else by the Kinks.

My 50th Wedding Anniversary later this year.

1967 was a big year in Canada. 100 years as a nation.

Started 1st year at EdgeEnd - happy days.

I was born in 1967 so it's my 50th Birthday this year

"O" levels for me.

I got a James Bond Corgi Toyota 2000 in my stocking, for Christmas!

Why hasn't anybody posted "Lost my virginity"? It doesn't come any bigger than that.

I got my first little tricycle in 1967

My 40th wedding anniversary this year but in 1967 I was still in the 2nd year at Rose Grove.

Scary what a difference 10 years makes when you are older.

2017 is the 50th anniversary of my 14th birthday

Was the year our family left Colne to start a new life in Kent. I was 5 at the time.

Started work in 1967, took articles and trained as a bean counter. Indelible pencils, pounds, shillings, pence and comptometer operators. Different days.

Between The Buttons by the Rolling Stones, the Velvet Underground And Nico, Are You Experienced: The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Piper At The Gates At Dawn (Pink Floyd) Safe As Milk (Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band), Disraeli Gears by Cream and Forever Changes by Love.

I doubt we'll be saying the same thing in 50 years for todays culture.

Me too, TurfyMoore. Burnley v Fulham, if my memory is still good, was my first game, 30-Sept. I stood near the corner flag at the front of the Cricket Field stand. Later moved up the terraces to the back - and then the CFS was demolished.

A young Alan Clarke missed a pen for Fulham. Clarets won 2-0, Frank Casper and Ralph Coates. Still a thrill to type those names and remember the excellent players at Burnley in those days.

You missed Frank Caspar from your list of "Claret legends." (I'd to consult the Chronicle to confirm scorers).

Just wondering whether that was Caspar's first Burnley goal?

Nope. He scored on his debut against Coventry and I was there to see it

Turf Moor Saturdays in winter months when the local pitches were frozen, which was quite often in the 60s.

1967, the 'summer of love' but I think it missed Rossendale. I'm same age as you, CT, but I didn't do 'O' levels till 1968.

Went to that game,,i was 10,stood on my little stool on the wall,longside.
