Hopefully they come out 2nd half and get a demoralising 89th min goal that puts more misery on the Swansea team - maybe even an offside goal.

They deserve it, well organised, committed. Bit like us, apart from winning away.
Liverpool have been terrible, Jordan Henderson simply can't pass a ball. Plays for England too..

********. This is exactly why we just focus on our job.
Great gamr. Hope its a repeat of tbose games v newcastle at anfield in the 90s.
Llorente is a brilliant target man. Surprised he went there. Siggurdson also too good to go down.

Plenty on here writing off such as Swansea and Hull and thinking it's going to be a canter. Nah, not having it - and we've got to go to both. Still think it's 3 from 5 and, yes, we are one of the five.

We only need another 12 points are so. We'll be fine. Hopefully Sunderland and Hull to lose.

I reckon there'll be a number of teams who're more concerned with this result than we are right now.
We've got a really good sum of points on the board already, and the confidence and ability to take care of ourselves.

If we get to 37 points it won't make a blind bit of difference who we play. Btw, I suppose you think we've been lucky at home!

Surely 'the 5' are Hull, Swansea, Sunderland, Palace, Boro.

Thankfully its only the bottom 3 we need to be concerned about.

And to add, ALL the teams at the bottom can't win so it doesn't change anything with regards to the points required.

There's going to be quite a few of these shock results before the end of the season.
There'd be no point doing the pools if all the games went to form.
We've got to ensure we pull a couple off ourselves.

True but the last thing we need is to be sucked in. Once we get to 30 the horizon is in sight. As it stands we are still 7 points off the total we were relegated with.
At this stage in that season we were out of the bottom three with games to come against some poor sides around us. Sound familiar? We need to take one game at a time.

Clarettintedlense, love your turf moor pics, but not so much your confidence (lack off) about our chances of survival!

several comments on here from fans suggesting that the positive ones among us need a reality check. Guess it's down to the old half full or half empty view.
Reminds of the threads around this time last year arguing whether we would be promoted or not, some believing very early that it was going to happen, others arguing against it until it was a mathematical certainty.
I'm pleased to say that I was in the positive camp, backing us in January to be promoted as champions at still generous odds.
This time I am equally confident that we are going to survive. 36 or 37 points will do it. I reckon we'll finish on 40 plus!

I also think there are going to be a few shock results over the coming games
and let's hope we get one of them.
We could still be pulled into a relegation scrap. There's no doubt about that.
The away games against the likes of Palace, Hull, Swansea, Boro' and Sunderland
will determine whether we stay up.

As long as we get another 11 points it won't matter one iota how we do against those teams.

I don't think Paul Clement was a bad appointment for them at all, plays the brand of football the Swansea fans are used too. I was actually impressed with his Derby side at the Turf last year, well before they absolutely crumbled and everything went against them. They trapped us for long spells in the first half, we couldn't get out. I think the problem for Derby is the amount of players they have, can't be good for team spirit and I think he was wrongly sacked. I think he could become a good manager, just not at the poisoned Derby. I still expect Swansea to struggle because of the job done before his arrival, I don't know if it's possible to save them after a succession of horrific transfer windows and managers like Bob Bradley.
