Who have tomato ketchup on a bacon sandwich?
I know what you're thinking..... Donald Trump is the president of the USA and we're leaving the EU, and this clown is talking about a sauce we put on our bacon sandwiches.
It's a very important subject though, and if you're a 'proper' Burnley fan you'll have the correct sauce on your bacon sandwich.
If you don't have any kind of sauce on your bacon sandwich, keep your f***ing nose out.

Tommy sauce every time. As Lancashire as anyone and not a child (although very immature at times) was the correct answer Brown sauce or none at all?

Sausage all the way would rather eat your smelly feet than have Bacon but HP all the way, although once in a blue moon I will try ketchup on it. Can't at the moment though kids have made me get Daddies ketchup instead of Heinz and I'm a ketchup snob won't have any other than Heinz.

I accept your apology Lord Beamish.
The only tomato that is going on a bacon sandwich is fried tomato, but it's not a sauce.
The 'Lancashire as anyone' lad further up the thread needs to re-evaluate his life.
Michelin starred and Masterchef master Marcus Wareing is a Lancashire lad, and I bet he would never have tomato ketchup on a bacon sandwich.

"Bacon sandwich"?
It's a butty and most definitely with HP brown sauce.
And if before an away match setting off from Piccadilly a pint of Guinness.

Brown sauce on any breaky butty/toasty and a plate of breakfast with beans.
However,a breakfast without beans I will more often than not have red sauce.
Will that do yers ?

I was trying to include everyone by typing sandwich.
Even though you got the sauce correct, you lot in south east Lancashire call it a 'butty', which is well wrong.
We're having a sarnie or a taycake.

Brown sauce, barbecue sauce or none at all.
Tomato sauce on a bacon butty is a court marshall offense in my house.

Coles & Woolworths sell the squeezey bottle version. If you prefer the glass bottle then the British shop.

Bacon / bacon & egg - Brown sauce
Sausage - red sauce
Burgers - red sauce
It is that easy.
Red sauce on bacon is like putting a dash of blackcurrent/lime/lemonade in your pint...

I'm an adult (at least in years) and it has to be red sauce for me, although I tend to go for sausage and egg rather than bacon.

100% correct.
For the record, Ketchup is allowed on Sausages and Burgers, ketchup is sweeter so it just doesn't go with salty bacon. If you think otherwise then you are wrong.

You are clearly clueless and lack sauce experience if that's your view.

This should be interesting.
For me its smoked middle bacon.
Occasionally I will accompany the bacon with a sausage (or two), fried egg and some fried mushrooms.
The bread has to be Warburtons Blue, though I am partial to having a sarnie with a Sheldons Oven Bottom Barm.

Always HP sauce on a bacon butty, and anyone who calls ketchup 'red sauce' is a pleb of the highest order.

Pretty sure that when Dyche was on this show:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b043wrw1 he told Danny Baker that he has lashings of red sauce on his bacon/sausage butties.

Smoked bacon, oven bottom and no sauce at all. Why dilute the flavour of the meat?

HP (Houses of Parliament) sauce production was moved from Coventry to Holland 10 years ago. Anyone buying or consuming it should be locked in the Tower. Bloody traitors.
But HP Sauce is going Dutch.
Production of the brand is to move to Holland in March as its factory in Aston, Birmingham, shuts after 103 years, with the loss of 125 jobs.
