On Bt Sport tonight 7.45 KO
Quite looking forward to this.Barrow going well,a win would put them in a play off place.
Be good to see Barrow back in the football league after 45 years in the doldrums.
Come on you Bluebirds

Hoping for a Lincoln win myself. Developed a soft spot for Dover who are just above Barrow in the play-off places. Being born in East Kent not many football teams down there and Dover would have counted as my "local" team.
Come on you Imps!

Dover should stick to their Sole fish and ferries.

I'd like Barrow back.
Old Rel of mine, now no longer with us, finished his career with them.

As a result of us winning in the Orient game wasn't it Lincoln who got relegated into the Conference or whatever it was called at the time?
Edit. Maybe I should rephrase it.
Were Lincoln relegated from the bottom division into the Conference in the season when we won the 'Orient' game?

My 1st ever Burnley game was a 2-2 draw against Lincoln, so for sentimental reasons I would love to see Lincoln back in the league

Wasn't Burnley's fault they went down again.

Lincolns manager is a former PE teacher so maybe my dream wasn't too far out??

Barrows ground hasn't changed much from last time I was on it.

How's Alex Ray Harvey doing these days? He was going to be a world beater according to Crusty Crouton

To fair to Crusty, he was likely listening to this when he said that.

Watching this reminds me of just how far we have come since the "O" game.
Alex Ray-Harvey putting up a good show so far - no world beater though !

Just looks the same, Dazzler.
Not been on it for a while now.
Went up a good few years back to watch Buxton in the NPL
Made a point of going, as I used to know one of their former players back in their league days. My cousin's hubby.
Just that even at non league level, you see old bits of grounds replaced.
Barrow looks pretty much as I remember.

He did catch it in the face full on, Funky.
Seems he hurt his leg though!

Is Woodyard playing for Lincoln? Very impressed with him in the games against Ipswich. Midfield.

No. Not me. Was never good enough.
But the man I knew who did, (Uncle Bill) was an old NI team mate of Jimmy Mac.
Billy McAdams. First UK player ever to score a hattrick against W Germany!
(They still lost 4-3 though).

I saw Barrow's replay loss against 'Dale in the FA Cup, and they looked awful. Surprised that they are near the top of the Conference. Lincoln, on the other hand, have been looking superb.

Having lived in barrow for the last 2 months, I've taken to keeping an eye on them, I've attended one game this season, it was quite an eye opener, we really are quite privileged at Burnley, nice to see them win again tonight and Byron Harrison scoring again

Shocking decision for the penalty that gave them the third. Typical non-league fair tonight - up and under team lowered the odds and won it comfortably.
Good watch, enjoyed it.

I watch Alex play a lot, he played for step lads school team and So I watched him play down at Gawthorpe from under 15s on and the two seasons he played for the youth team. plus then a few reserve games.
Thing is you can be a good player at the level you play at and then down the leagues you may not be as effective or look as good. I have not seen him play for a while but I bet he would effective at a higher level.
I will draw parallels with Joey, having now spoken to to several Rangers fans who saw him, they truely thought he was crap. Back here he does not look any different.
It can be how it is sometimes, may be he couldnt but Would not surprise me if Alex looked a lot better in a better side.

Got to agree with this. Many will be dragged down to the level of those around them than drag others up to theirs. Happens in all walks of life.
