Good player, probably one who could have fitted in straight away and given us something extra but the lure of the capital often clinches a deal and keeping within our wage framework is as important as that on the field.

Ablue, you should be delighted that should we get Brady, we're getting a player who needs to develop in no way at all to improve our starting 11. That's the point, he's a signing for now.
And at his age, he could easily improve. Bonus.

Surprise surprise, this deal was probably done almost 2 weeks ago behind the scenes when Snodgrass's agent said he would sign for West Ham at the wages they were offering and therefore West Ham bid only £3m initially because they knew he would sign for them until Burnley and Boro went into LA La land and put the price up.

Driven solely by wages. He obviously never had an iota of interest in coming here. I don't think West Ham are the happiest and stablest of clubs so it will be interesting to see how it unfolds.
