That's from Transfer Centre Live, they are usually decent sources.

Would be a good signing. However the last few days have taught me not to believe anything I hear online - not until it's announced by the club anyway

Does Twitter specify which club has made the bid? I mean, we would assume Burnley, but with so many wind-up merchants can it be confirmed?

Burnley are close to signing Hull City left-back Andrew Robertson for a fee worth in the region of £10m.

Is their chairman trying to get his money back before walking away or something? Surely must be as selling your top 3 players mid season is just lunacy?

Having seen our back up left back in action on Saturday, yes we need another left back

Don't get this one myself. With Flannagan and Darikwa as back ups why do we need a left back when we are short in other areas.
Maybe we are going to loan him to Norwich to complete the Brady transfer

This would be a phenomenal signing, in my eyes.
Wardy has been and continues to be superb for us but the pace of Robertson would be great.

Darikwa is RB, Firthy and it's clear that Flannagan isn't up to Dyche's standards.
Unless Ward is off elsewhere, who knows.
Maybe back to Brighton?

Can this board cope with two separate transfer-deadline big potential signings at the same time? Is there not a critical mass at which the entire board goes boom?

Flannagan isnt our player and and darikwa is a right back not a left back

Answers your question right there. A Right back playing at left and a lower end Championship player are not really adequate cover for a Premier League side IMO.

Would be a very good signing. Ward is good but no spring chicken, at 22 Robertson is the right type of player we need to be going for.

No wat Ward will go to Brighton. He wouldn't give up Premiership football for the disappointment of missing out on promotion in the play offs

Can't see any point in signing another left back. Other areas far more important now.

Looks like Hull are having a boot sale. Kamikaze activity by their board IMO.

Nothing anywhere mentioning an accepted bid or Burnley.
Unless the Brady transfer is on the rocks I can't see robertson & Brady coming.
Flanagan was awful Saturday and I don't want to see him in the premier league, he will get tore a new one.

The Bleacher Report isn't credible. Any one of us could submit an article to them and they'd publish it.
We could all be Bleacher Report 'journalists'

This may or may not be credible and probably is as I expect us to make
a few bids before the end of tomorrow.
Now whether they are realistic and/or likely is another matter?
We've obviously got the money.
Robertson does seem a little strange but then Dyche must know what he wants/needs
to try and improve the team to give us the best possible chance of staying up and progressing
next season.
I too will believe it when I see the player posing for photos in a claret and blue shirt.

Interesting one but the suggestion from the Hull Daily Mail should be believed and that's that there has been no formal offer although I'm not sure what constitutes in informal offer.

Seems a strange one this signing. If we are spending £10m on a fullback I'd rather we replace Lowton.

I rate ward, but Robertson is better. I would rather strengthen the wings but if a player becomes available who can improve are starting 11 and fits our pricing strategy then we should try to get them in while they are available

Got to agree with KefkaClaret
If this goes through then it looks like the Brady deal is totally dead as he would have been the cover at Left Back

#hcafc say they've had no "formal offer" for Andy Robertson amid talk of Burnley lining up a £10m deal. Certainly one to watch.
