Afternoon,

I sit next to an Everton fan in the office and he has taken great delight in highlighting Koeman's statement that Michael Keane is 'on his radar' in his press conference.

Please, no................

There's something kicking around on Twitter that Keane is signing for them in this window, I just didn't feel the need to add it on here earlier.

If anywhere he will go to Man City in my opinion. Not until the summer though.

Its too late for Keane to go anywhere in this transfer window. Going of reports, he is on the on the radar of really high profile clubs to which there has been little speculation or news of bids recently. I think the summer will when he activity will start there.

He's been linked with just about every big club in the league this season. He hasn't joined any of them as yet.

30 million in this window..or 50 million in the summer...it's a no brainer.

If he wasn't " on the radar " of every top club in the country they wouldn't be doing their job.

Just tell him it's not happening and then tip him out of his chair.

I'd drive him there for £25m personally, but I'd hope the transfer fee involved would be around that of the John Stones fee.

He may go somewhere in the summer if we are not in the Champions League. Bidding to start at £50 million considering that Stones went for £47.5 million plus add-ons !!

Do that fake sneeze thing, but instead of sneezing, shout "Ah 2-1"

- 'on his radar' doesn't sound like they're gonna try and get him in the next 30 hours.

One for the future maybe.. [unless a bigger club than Everton get in first].

You guessing?

City didn't even have that much on the Trippier deal did they?

Hasn't he only got 18 months left on his current deal? £20 million in the summer maximum if he's in his last year. Even that might be on the optimistic side.

This is a perfect example of how things are taken out of context. Here is the extract from the BBC:

Everton manager Ronald Koeman admitted that he is interested in Burnley centre-back Michael Keane - but believes many Premier League sides are.
Koeman says he is in no rush to sign players before the transfer deadline on Tuesday and can wait until the summer. Asked about Keane, Koeman said: "Michael Keane is on the list, he is one of those players. He’s on our list but he’s on lots of teams' lists."

Just a general quote - nothing specific at all.

I think that shows a lack of class from Koeman. I'm pretty sure Dyche would flatly refuse to comment about any player at another club.

Im with you Walton if stones is worth £50m then so is Keane. Stones is still young and will get better and so will Keane

I was informed City had/have 40% fee on Trippier and Mee.
Maybe someone ITK more than myself could confirm or deny that figure, but I have no reason to think it's untrue.

Quote: "He (Keane) is one of that list. Defenders in that position. But I heard he's on more lists of different teams," says Koeman."

If we sold Keane we'd have Mee and Tarks left with no backup....that would be suicidal. We're already light in that area with Kevin Long not match fit and even Anderson and Whitmore out on loan.

Keane's been subject of speculation in every transfer window since he joined.
