Welcome to Burnley, Ashley!
I reckon he'll be a good signing for us. Definitely sounds like a Dyche player.

Once again I am completely underwelmed, however I was with Heaton and Gudmunson. So I will trust Dyche and see how he goes.

I've heard he's like a **** Michael Carrick. He has a lot of passion and should fit well into a Dyche team.

great to see us react quickly to the massive loss of marney, in the past we would have had a 'what we have will do' mentality.
big praise to the board for backing the main man SD.
Welcome to t'Turf Ashley - wear the shirt with pride

Have we any idea on the fee? I see it's undisclosed as we'd expect.

Looks like he likes Burnley due to 'British talent'. I don't think that'll go down well with Defour, Hendrick or Ward?

Welcome to Burnley, Ashley. Don't worry about the negative comments above - they're examples of our sense of humour.

He's not a replacement for Marney. Not the same sort of player. He's an extra body in a key area though.

His comments are interesting (and encouraging):
“It feels like a proper football club and homely and that’s what I like. I like to be appreciated and I think I will definitely get that here.
“It’s a fresh start and I want to show people what I can really do."

He nearly did - he then got offered a London based club and double his salary... Ermmm

I think it's potentially a great signing. Young, not too expensive, likes to break up play, loves to keep it simple, but also keeps the ball moving, plays the ball forwards, and doesn't slow the game down too much. A natural Marney replacement. Welcome to Burnley Sir!

Looks a solid signing and have a feeling he's not cuptied either so could be very useful for the rest of the campaign.
