They have a poll on there whether Ranieri should stay or go. 85% want him gone.

Tossers I'm glad our bit of luck came against them, Ranieri is a top man and should have a job for life after what he did for them last year.

It's taking fickle football fans to the next level.

He's a nice bloke, but isn't that the first major trophy of his career?

Last season was a freakish one for many reasons, the main one being Leicester winning the title.

At the moment they look in real trouble of relegation, do they stick with him because of last year and go down? or make a change and make a fist of it? It's a difficult one, he certainly was incredible last year but 6 months in football is a long time.

I'd go as high as 90% (worse than any Blackburn or Man Utd board) of that board being full of absolute horrible gobsh1tes, and I don't mean because of the said poll.

I've read that board on and off since we were rivals for the Championship a few seasons ago, and the stuff they come out with about Dyche was moronic and pathetic. Real clever dicks and thinking that they're something special.

I've never really ever had an opinion about Leicester, but I'd love it if they went down just to read that board.

I sort of agree with them. it was Pearson's team and momentum that swept them to the title. only this season is ranieri's influence showing and its not too good is it?

Attacking-wise, I thought Leicester were one of the better teams to play at Turf Moor so far. I think they just lack a bit of confidence now. They are a decent mid table side on paper I reckon.

Just read some of the comments... disgusting. The bloke brought them the Premier League title, for crying out loud!

Even if they are at the wrong end of the table I think he deserves some loyalty from the fans purely for that achievement.

I thought they were dogger. Poor passing, poor tackling, got away with murder from the ref. didn't look like scoring all night.

Got exactly what they deserved - zero.

Easily in the three worst sides to visit this season.

If Dyche led us to the title, i'd give him a blank contract to sign. He could take us down to the Conference and i'd be saying "Remember when we won the Premier League, though?". Can't understand that kind of fickleness.

Are they serious? They're into the next stage of the Champions League FFS! Shitlords!!!

Hope they win it (for Ranieri) and then get relegated to the Championship (for their embarrassing fans)

Strange to read that Ranieri has no say in transfer dealings, so he is effectively being handed random players to form a team.
Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Jose Mourinho won the title with Chelsea and lost the dressing room next season and we all know what happened, if a manager loses the dressing room, it's not going to work out no matter what manager you are.

Leicester are in a bit of a pickle if they do get relegated though, a lot of their players were rewarded for last season with new contracts £80k plus.

They were calling for Ranieri to go on Friday night when I was down the pub watching their FA Cup match.

All we need now is for Derby to grab a 95th minute winner in the replay and for them to be knocked out of Europe.

'I think it's gone on long enough'?! Is that a joke? They were bottom for about three months the season before last! And now they're whinging because they aren't capable understanding a club of their size probably is a mid-to-low-table team?!

On a brighter note, it looks like yet another Burnley home win has uncovered yet more whinging plastic fans.

Rant over.

There's not much Ranieri can do when he gets that lack of effort from his players.

Mahrez was totally disinterested all night. He ran a ball over the touchline in front of the BL Stand in the 1st half and his body language said it all. He just didn't looked bothered in the slightest.
Huth and Morgan were a dreadful reminder of old-fashioned centre-half pairings. Keane and Mee are on a different planet to those two.
Drinkwater was anonymous. His night was summed up by smashing the ball into the BL Stand direct from the restart after we scored. Awful.
Vardy looked a handful but had fed off scraps all night. If they go down I'd definitely be after him. He'd thrive in our set up.
I thought Albrighton looked ok and Ndidi put a real shift in; but other than that they were poor.

Leicester are a threat going forward with their pace and are a proper handful. They are poor defensively, that is there problem. We were pinging balls in from the flanks all night, and on set pieces they were awful. Ben Mee should have had a couple with the free headers. If we have had a bit more quality out wide, we would have won the game comfortably.

It is ok having these pacey wingers who are good on the eye, but in today's game they have got to be able to put a foot in and track back and stop the crosses, Leicester lot don't look capable of doing that.

There short of luck and confidence. The Mahrez shot that bounced of Heaton to Vardy would of been in the net 12 months ago. Vardys dive possibly given. Vardys shot that went for a throw in would of been in.

TBH their getting far more criticism than Chelsea did last year. In our first EPL under Dyche Chelsea were unbelievable.

Probably most of the voters are those who are disillusioned and have ideas of grandeur after last season.

Talking to a Leicester supporter last night who said the problem is that with Kante gone there is a big hole where he used to play and nobody has filled it and the likes of Drinkwater isn't up the task. He thought Kante made some of the team look better than they really were.

Maybe they need a Joey Barton in their team now :)

Based on last night, they play every game with ten men.

Mahrez is absolutely stealing his massive wage, though he was amazing last year

Read something from his old coach in France which went along the lines of

"He's alright, he just does one thing - he runs down the line and cuts inside and shoots on his left foot. It might work in the Premier League but it doesn't in Ligue 2"

Made me laugh when thats all he tried to do last night ...... But was frustrating seeing how good he was at doing it even though you knew it was coming.... Mee was terrified of him doing it and kept tracking him back and "jockeying" him from about 5/6 yards away.

loads of championship winning teams suffer a bit of a hangover the following season when the players go a bit billy big ******** but leicester just haven't got the quality of players to ride it out.

vardy is the epitome of the one season wonder and they've got two absolute carthorses in the centre of defence.

in a way it shows how good their achievement was last year and how important kante was to them.

He was also petulantly dirty more than once last night.
He sums up Leicester this season. Things aren't going 'just so' for them and, too many of their players think they've done the job and haven't really sussed that we're half way through the next season!

And nope, Ben wasn't even afraid, never mind terrified. :)

Haha, terrified might be a bit of a strong word but he was very worried about sticking a foot in and being beaten. Mees tactic worked well in general but you could tell he didnt want to step in and give him a chance to cut inside (even though he still did a couple of times).

Keane was a different animal last night and the way he shielded Vardy off in the 2nd half was quality - kind of a "have a go then" and then just stopped him from doing anything.

The Barton tackles at edge of the box were top notch too - Leicester must have though WTF has happened to the team they played earlier in the season.

Vardy would be brilliant in our setup but I think he's on about £100k a week now so I couldn't see it happening. Albrighton though, reminds me of Boyd, he could do a job for us.

As fickle as they come. Their recruitment team is to blame for this season in my eyes (and obviously the loss of Kante, whose importance cannot be overstated)

On paper they have a team full of quality, so the question is why are they not performing? Unfortunately for them I don't have the answer but I could almost guarantee that a new manager of some quality would turn it around. I think he's (Ranieri) on thin ice at the moment and its about to melt.

Re: Foxes Talk

Their players are just not trying hard enough, Morgan and Huth have run out of gas it seems. Their in real danger of going down as the fight isn't there, Kante looks like a massive miss as he broke up everything last season in the middle, also their head of recruitment went to Everton who found them Mahrez, Kante, Vardy etc etc.

Re: Foxes Talk

Unless you understand what's gone on here over say 5 years you'll probably never understand why the fans are unhappy with Ranieri.

Not only is he making utterly bizarre decisions this year, he's made awful signings and most importantly all the infrastructure that Pearson left behind is crumbling. Off the fielding we were innovators under Pearson, with the best sports psychologists, excellent scouting setup, incredible sports science department.

What we all wanted when Pearson left was someone to take on board all our excellent setup and run with it. Last season he was told to leave alone and he did to his credit in the main. For whatever reason this season he has decided to sack the psychologists, ignore the sports science departments to make changes in training and what people eat. He'd already started ignoring our scouting department last season and needed them to plead with him to sign Kante instead of his own target.

Recruitment has been a total mess, we've got an unbalanced squad and the obvious areas that needed sorting were left alone completely. With areas we had plenty of players getting filled up. Chuck into that his man management has been awful, promising people new contracts or that they could leave and then them not appearing.

We'll have respect for the bloke forever, but when you see the club you love starting to crumble you can't just sit back and do / say nothing. Nobody was expecting to challenge for the league again. What we expected was to make the most of the best opportunity we'll ever have to establish ourselves for a good number of years.

It's not just down to Ranieri, the players and the director of football also share the blame. But at the end of the day the manager will always be the fall guy. It's easy to say he should have a job for life, but when it's your club about to go down the shitter you wouldn't be saying that. He didn't build everything that made us good, that work had already been put in.

Imagine Dyche leaving, the next manager comes in and for one season is great... but then you see all the great work Dyche did crumbling. Would you really happily accept that man as untouchable because he gave you one great season? Of course not. Last season was glorious, but it doesn't mean I should flush the next 40 years of supporting Leicester down the drain because of it.

The King Prawns should have got Lee Hoos in to put the players on a Retainer (a famous Burnley thing  ). That way they would have to put the effort in for two seasons before seeing any financial reward...

Whats bad for them is good for us, and its brought down some of the smug gobsh!tes that everyone else has endure since last seasons end.

It sounds like you have a bad case of "its all thanks to Cotts" syndrome to be perfectly honest. Pearsons record isn't stellar anywhere, and he's as mad as a box of frogs to boot.

If that next manager won us the biggest prize in football I certainly wouldn't be calling for his head. It's over dramatic to say the least to say that Ranieri is flushing the next 40 years down the toilet. Would you have preferred Pearson to stay, still have your marvellous infrastructure but still possibly be in a relegation battle (as you were before he left) but with no unbelievable season to look back on?
