Hope for selfish reasons the game gets moved to Sunday as can't go on the Saturday.

I'm not sure how long exactly it takes to decide but draw on Monday, spend Tuesday deliberating on who should be on and what are the best days to show them particular games and thrash out with BT Sport who gets what plus take in to consideration other fixtures ( champions league etc) and then Wednesday announce schedule!! There you go twas easy! :)

I was thinking ours might be on Friday or Monday night with me leaning more towards Monday night.

If the our game had been at Lincoln then it would have definitely been on but no I doubt very much we will be one of the live match's on.

I'd be genuinely shocked if it wasn't a live game.
Lincoln, one of two non league sides into the last 16!

Agreed. If Lincoln aren't on TV then there's something sadly wrong with the FA(alright we know that already), BBC and BT

TV always looking for an upset so more chance of that with other ties in the draw.

Hope I'm wrong but we shall see as I would love to see the game live like many.

Have Manchester United and the FA let the TV companies know yet when they want their game scheduled?

I hope they don't spoil their big day out by scheduling it for either Friday or Monday which would
mean a lot of their fans would have to take the day off work. Let's hope they are sensible about it.

Monday would no doubt suit quite a lot of us, though as mentioned above it would be tough on Lincoln supporters.
Being half term week I scheduled holiday from Sunday to Sunday, so as not to miss Chelsea home, but of course they moved it to Sunday, so unless it's Lincoln on Sunday late afternoon or Monday then many of us miss 2 matches.

United will be on live this time because there is a non-league team playing down the road.

Lincoln got a rough deal not being screened live against the Championship leaders in the 4th round.
How anyone could see Man Utd v Wigan as a more attractive cup clash is beyond reason.

Taking into account that most Man U fans live nowhere near Manchester, I think it's purely down to getting more tv viewing figures/money as opposed to entertainment.

it was the FA's decision, the bbc wanted to show lincoln after they won the replay but the FA wouldn't let them (they'd already chosen the utd game).

its something to do with selling the rights abroad, they want maintain the interest of (and income from) overseas audiences, hence they want utd or similar on telly every round they're in.

There is Champions League and Europa League games the week before and the week after so the TV games on Friday and Monday won't involve these teams.

I hope we aren't on the Friday or Monday night. That means I either miss the game or take a day off work to add to the £50 odd that it costs me to get up there for the match plus the ticket.

Will affect the gate which is a shame but Lincoln will benefit with TV money. Hopefully same prices as previous rounds.

Not if we give Lincoln the whole of CFS - which they could fill more than once really - even if not - at same prices as last round and 2400 imps that could easily be a 18000 plus gate - what better way to introduce youngsters to the experience

So basically the FA have decided that every Man U cup tie will be televised regardless of who they play just because they have the biggest overseas fan base? Says it all about the FA.

Or don't give them all the CFS but let then have 100% of the gate money

Totally agree the Cricket Field as become our 12th man. Last nights support from the lads and lasses in there should be enough for the powers that be to not even consider handing it over ever again. And I don't go in the Cricket Field btw but without doubt it has enhanced the match day experience at Turf Moor

They can request the maximum amount but that doesn't guarantee they get them. All sorts to be considered all mainly down to logistics and safety I believe.
