I shared some bantz with a Leicester fan this morning as I innocently asked him to let me know if he needed a hand with anything today :p.
And a Villa fan gave me his opinions of Westwood:

Floating mid.
Good energy.
Decent shot on him and still room to grow.
Weak in the tackle and needs support often if the mid doesn't have an 'enforcer'.
Quiet, stays out the media spotlight and seems like a nice guy.
Picks up the odd booking here and there.
His tackling is a bit iffy on a whole, so he's not the best at avoiding bookings where he should.
Generally stays fit and doesn't get injured often.

Sounds like the boss will take that and improve him. Dyche material ?

There's very few players who haven't improved under Dyche so would hope
both Westwood and Brady would too.

Villa fan I work with is astounded Westwood played 120 PL games for them and 23? this season, apparently he just passes it sideways all the time and doesn't do much else.

Although he did admit that he has a low opinion of anyone who was involved in last seasons dismal relegation.

Sounds promising. They didn't rate Lowton either.
