I've never known the message board to be so positive..

Post by Diesel » Fri Feb 03, 2017 3:08 pm

..and that includes Claretsmad.

There must still be something that is irritating someone out there?

Mine is inverted wingers, they do my head in!

I've already had my pants pulled down though regards Andre Gray not being good enough, so will happily put up with them.

CB's playing in midfield!

ABC will be loving it though (which just makes it worse ;)) :)

You got Gray wrong for sure. I had a sneaky feeling that the guy would learn fast and the power he showed the other night surprised me. He could be some player.
I don't mind inverted wingers as long as they have a decent cross with the "wrong foot" and use it occasionally to surprise the full back. It will be interesting to see how Brady will be used when he gets his chance.

If we're nit picking, and that's what we're doing here, then I would have liked for us to have got a forward in.

We play two up front, so we could do with four in total.

But it isn't irritating me.

Just wait until the next loss - they will be back !

However, the way this team is performing may be a while.

A defeat and the Lincoln ticket details should soon see the normal service resumed.

Well there's a lot to be positive about right now, more than I ever thought possible this season.

Just got to sort this away record and we're laughing.

One thing that does irritate me - the way Sean Dyche says "At Turf".

Should either be "At THE Turf" or "At t'Turf" if he's going to try and do a faux Lancs accent.

Dyche out! :D

He can call it what he wants, within reason.

However, with the amount of things he has thrown into the 'melting pot', I just wonder how big this melting pot is.

I suspect Brady has been bought too potentially play in many different positions. Primarily he's a winger but he could fill in at left back or centre forward if required. A modern day Graham Di Branchio if you like.

I'd love to see a morale graph that matched the mood of this board along the season. It would be hilarious and shameful in equal measure.

I'm now officialy over the pain of the West Ham defeat :D

Seriously though, just how good is this ongoing feeling of pitching up, accepting a point would be good enough and walking out having witnessed another victory and 3 points.

I never thought we would get more than 9 wins all season and can't wait to be proved wrong, time and time again.

I just hope this away monkey is put to rest very soon because the team deserve it!

Even when we don't win, the team are giving their all (Southampton and West Brom apart).

We are taking on some of the best teams in the World, playing against some of the best players in the World, and winning our fair share !

What is there to moan about?

Dyche needs to grow that beard out properly instead of trimming that shyte goatee. You either do it properly or you don't waste your time.

In fact, anyone on here who bumps into him should take a few shots of whiskey for confidence then tell him that growing a real beard is his official 'keeping us up' forfeit.

Most of 'em can't even kick with their wrong foot, never mind cross it. Like I've said before, the first coach to put wingers back on their natural flank will be hailed as a tactical genius.

Modern full backs are too quick to get behind, hence inverted wingers.

Re the JHU - the bogs situation was insane in the last cup game because so many people not used to being in their were all over the place. Us usuals now the score.

I am positive this morning as I have never worn any of these clothes to a match and as such they will stand or fall today! I have high hopes for my effort at bringing more positivity to this afternoon. Shortly to jump in the car and head South, mind the Gap we want to at least double our away points total today. UTC

Fans on a message board aren't happy when their team gets beat.
