Drums, don't get me started !

The most infuriating thing ever introduced at any football ground. Stood watching the Watford Mascot on the touchline banging a drum on Saturday to try and get the home fans going was just embarrassing and cringeworthy (and a mind numbingly boring constant thudding distraction).

Songs evolve over time in all genres, football chants included. I don't mind the new style of faster paced singing and the rhythm can be kept in any number of ways. Life goes on and us oldies can adapt to it or become miserable gits. Doing songs different means we don't become Americanised with there organ generated rhythms and chants.

Football changed for me the day they got rid of the old leather ball and has been changing ever since.
