When asked, I always said I would; but only as an act of Class Warfare.
Sad news for the lass.

Shocked. She had a really lovely open personality. Despite the official 'faults', I warmed to her, whenever she appeared on TV.
Great shame for anyone to die so young.

"Funny crazy lady" but troubled. Far too young. Sometimes life is just not fair. Saw her once I think it was on Parkinson show. Completely off her head but very funny and not offensive at all.

my cousin is a journalist and interviewed her a few years back, she said she was one of the nicest people she had ever interviewed. Incredibly young

Sad to hear her devil may care attitude always made me smile. She was privileged and she knew it but never came across as thinking herself superior for that. Lived life to the max and as nutty as a fruitcake. Britain has lost a true eccentric today.
RIP Tara x

Blimey, this is a surprise. I remember seeing her in "I'm a Celeb, get me out of here" several years ago, although I never knew what she actually did to become a 'celeb'. I too never knew about her being unwell.

Liked her. Puddled, but nice.
Quite fancied her a few years ago.
Wasn't there rumours she'd helped a certain prince become a man???
Anyway, RIP bonkers bird.

She was from a world we generally know little about but you can't choose your background and for some it isn't always easy. She fought and beat her own demons but always looked vulnerable to me. I am assuming it was the brain tumour that has ended her life prematurely and I
hope she finds the peace she deserves.

Often looked (and was) troubled but on occasions she gave hints of what her true self could be like - had she steered clear of the 'substances'. Like this photo for example:

The drunk interview on the Frank Skinner show was comedy gold. Apparently she watched the first five minutes of it afterwards and then checked into rehab.
RIP Tara, 45 is way too young to go.

Why the hell is it jumping on the sympathy bandwagon!?
If being a decent, sympathetic person is jumping on a bandwagon, it doesn't sound like a bad wagon to be on!

Is your ideal girl/wife the opposite of TPT then Biggles?
Ugly, boring, bitchy, jealous, thick and penniless...

Genuinely shocked to hear the news today that she had passed away - she was certainly a little bit fruity, but she had a voice that was a massive turn on for me. Posh Totty of the finest order, RIP TPT

You're entitled to your opinion Fatboy, but I do wonder what prompts people to post criticism on a thread marking the death of someone.

The single biggest difference being that I suspect that she wouldn't have clicked on, read and responded to an "RIP Fatboy47" thread.
I don't think anybody expects everybody to have feelings either way. Just rather odd that people feel the need to comment on something that they say is of no interest to them.

guich - ask for flags at half mast and a minutes, no, two minutes silence on saturday. go all out for it . show your pain like a good girlie. you are simply grandstanding an internet outpouring of grief for someone you didn't know simply because you 'think' it sounds right. you didn't even know her. your fake concern is really touching. i am against all this fake grief that the internet seems to demand - you aren't.

It's not fake grief Biggles, I'm not grieving and I won't think much about it tomorrow. I just think it's sad that she died at 45.
Do you go into funerals and write 'wan**er' in the book of condolence?

No one has ever called me a 'good girlie' or an 'arse' before. I don't want to get in an unseemly row on an RIP thread so I'll sign off now and hop off to bed with the beautiful and admittedly posh Mrs G.
Hopefully the thread can become kinder again.

somewhere in anonymity, a lonely person passed away today, but we focus on a name. the lad who made the flippant " posh bird" comment , was spot on.
