Also car parking spaces at the front of super markets reserved because you have kids !!!!and we wonder why so many of them are obese what next escalator to the pop and toffee aisles so the lazy buggers don't even have to walk.

The "Can I get" thing is a generational thing. Standard terminology these days for kids, especially when ordering a McD's! "Please may I have a Big Mac Meal" is a phrase that you just wouldn't hear

Down here if I see this on the trains, I go up to the (usually teenage) oik and ask very politely "Could you possibly tell me what that says please" and then point to the sticker next to the seat that says "Do not put your feet on the seats".
