A scabby draw from an own goal against quite possibly the worst team to ever play in that division suggests to me that they are finished . The collapse has started and our NNN anthem will sound so sweet at Wembley as we lift the FA cup having secured our Prem status by mid March.UTC LLTV

Beating Newcastle both home and away would suggest they aren't finished yet.

Rovers remaining fixtures. Burton away is the key. I think if they get something there then they give themselves a better chance. Hopefully Kights can have a blinder though.

Looking at them fixtures they have a tough run, followed by a decent last 5.
Hopefully they are adrift by then and the stuffing has been knocked out of them.

Yeah we could do with an improvement from Wigan, Rotherham have gone so a draw for Rovers was 2 points dropped despite them getting something.

It's ok - heard Coyle on the radio explaining how they played them off the park, missed hatfuls of chances and should have won the game comfortably, and as we know, Owen always tells it how it is.

I'm going to put my neck on the line here....
I'm not sure that seeing them relegated will be such a good thing. Even the likes of Bolton have been able to find a resurgence. I would hate for them to regroup. I'm quite happy seeing them wallow, year after year, debts multiplying.....
Bottom line, they are gradually imploding. I'm not sure that I want a further 'shock' to upset the status quo.
(It'd still be a great summer though.)

Bolton have just had to sell Clough, are arguing in public over what looks like a very dodgy deal and probably don't have the money to spend if they get promoted.
Rovers dropping into league one would see further cuts to the team, a number of whom are out of contract in the summer.
Crowd attendances would probably drop further whilst the discontent would ratchet up a few levels.
Got great potential to be an absolute car wreck of a season in league 1.

I'd hope you're right there Sydney.
Bolton are definitely in the mire.
I just feel....it ain't broke....and I am enjoying them struggle week on week and having all this infighting. I suppose there will come a time where that's just not enough and I'll want more!

I agree.! I fear that relegation may actually increase their chances of future silverware. I mean, you'd gave to fancy them in the Johnson's Paint trophy

Burton, Bristol, Wigan, Wolves, Forest and Brentford are their 6 pt matches lose too many of those and they will go down. Its the same as the Premier League if your down the bottom its the teams your in and around that you need to beat.
