Slightly disappointed with a point
Yes I'm insane and I know Chelsea had tons of possession but the missed chances by Lowton and Gray makes me feel we could have beaten the Champions elect

We certainly could have won it. A point will have to do, though.

A point from Chelsea is always a great point and I'll bet you, like most of us, would have torn their arm off for a point before we started.

Lowton and Gray both should have buried their chances. But a draw is a fine result!

For us it was a winning match . our strikers could not manage to kick a decent goal bound ball .

I had a tenner on a Burnley win and score 2-1.......... and I was about 10 feet away from Gray when he missed his 'sitter'......... thought he could've tried harder for me.

We created all the clear cut chances other than the Chelsea goal.

Re: Slightly disappointed with a point
It's a fantastic result and coupled with others this weekend takes us a huge step nearer safety - but if you try and look at it objectively, just based on the 90 minutes, then yes we possibly should have.
Interesting, games against the top clubs, big chance for Sam when we played Arsenal at TM. Scotty skied a super opening at Old Trafford and a couple of under-par displays v City - we could/should have got something from both those games.
Get the feeling we'll be playing them all again next season and if we can maintain what we're building now we'll put our learning to good effect.

He didnt expect it. Thats the difference with the real top strikers. Anticipation.Sutton-Claret wrote:I had a tenner on a Burnley win and score 2-1.......... and I was about 10 feet away from Gray when he missed his 'sitter'......... thought he could've tried harder for me.

Re: Slightly disappointed with a point
Would've taken a point no doubt. Turns out we could've/should've had three.
If they had the chances we had, they would've won the game 1-3. And at this level, that is the difference. Get a chance, take the chance.

Re: Slightly disappointed with a point
We don't normally create such good chances so it's very disappointing we didn't take them.
