He actually said Conte and Daish were. He's an absolute bellend.

I wouldn't be happy with him getting such positive coverage. Wealthy desparate chairmen will take note.

I actually agree with that. I'm much happier going under the radar. I'm hoping our perceived 'style' will protect us.
Would certainly have thought that Leicester will be testing the water...given his success at getting promoted too. Never mind slightly 'bigger' clubs....

If SD wasn't on rival clubs radar, even before today, some people at those clubs
arent doing their jobs properly.

But nothing to achieve there anymore. Bit pointless going there.

Near to home and £££££££££££££££££££££.
plenty still to achieve for his family

It's inevitable that he will be poached. I do think that he needs to show that his sides can also play a more attractive brand of football, before those with a lot more clout come calling.
Strangely, I think he's more likely to stay another season or two now, when before I was convinced that this would be his last season with us. Hopefully I'm right!
He's being backed much more now and is really moulding something special, it won't last forever but I'm hoping that he's still not quite reached his limit with us as yet.

You really think money is his main motivation?

I think the smart move would be to stay. Leicester for example don't have the players to suit his framework approach to the game at the moment.
I'm not Sean dyche though.

The ££££££££ was in response to the idea that going to Leicester would not give him any extra to achieve given his two promotions with us, but he could take them up if they go down and be near home plus the bonus of ££££££££.
No I don't think it is just £££££ with SD but I am pretty sure his wife and family come first and he would prefer to be nearer his roots

I'm thinking it's going to be a lot easier to attract better players over the summer with all the plaudits Dyche is getting.

Burnley can afford to offer Sean much more than the highest paid player - Brady @ £30,000 per week - and rightly so.
Give Sean minimum £2 million.
We made £40 million net profit in 2015 !!

Don't kid yourself. Money rules every manager's motivation.

I've been thinking about this today and given that clubs receive about 1.25 million for each position they finish in we could easily give SD 3 or 4 million to stay and progress us further. He seems to enjoy it here and obviously likes the club and the challenge it offers him.

£30,000 a week? Has he took a pay cut to join Burnley? Pull the other one..

I'm sure Sean will go on to bigger and better things but when does he will surely leave us in a far better place than when he joined us. We cross that bridge when we come to it

He's showing what he can do with what he's got. If we had another manager who had the same players, and took Chelsea on at tiki taki we would have been murdered.
People, and I'm not suggesting you, who don't like our style of play are just missing the point that he is getting the best put of this squad. In time the squad will improve further and his flexibility will shine through.
