What attendance can we expect for this match? £10 and £5 tickets, a quarter final spot for the winners, plus a good number of carrot crunchers attending should push it up to around 20,000 IMO.

We'll be very lucky to break 20k, what with the match being on telly.
I reckon 18k max. And each of the empty seats in the Home End will be like a dagger through the hearts of Lincoln's massive travelling faithful, reduced to watching the match from home.

On tele it may be but this could be the last home game for 7weeks
It'll be like preseason for some not able to get a "live" fix

Reckon good crowd for same reasons in op.
Full house if Lincoln had been given CFS though. Even better atmosphere as well. Better for telly coverage

Certainly wouldn't be a better atmosphere if they'd been given the entire stand. Atmosphere always improves when home and away supporters are in the same stand.

18k wont be a bad crowd.
Judging by the poor ticket sales in the JM stands I was right to suggest giving Lincoln that full stand.

The Lincoln fans have called for a "million man march" to the turf to protest at them only getting more than they actually have season ticket holders. Their vast numbers of travelling bandwagon jumpers are seething that there might be spare seats in a ground where playing Arsenal and Chelsea is the norm these days.

Agree with this. And probably a key reason why we shouldnt necessarily get all of the stand back.
When away teams get the whole CFS we just give up as fans.

I will be glad when we have moved on to the next match. This Lincoln fixture isn't bringing the best out in either set of supporters.
Thankfully it is more than likely just Internet based crap.

Which TV channel will it be on? I can't find any information other than it is a 12-30 kick-off.

17 plus is not too bad a turn out. Bastards got half that in a Quarter Final against Millwall!

Forgive me if I'm wrong but if we get to the final I'm sure there will be plenty on here who'd be gutted not to be able to attend despite the fact that we'd get more tickets than we have season tickets.
I reckon Burnley could sell 40,000 tickets for a game like that at Wembley. I'm sure we all know of people who've supported Burnley for decades but don't often go on any more who would still be gutted to miss out.

Probably. But priority should go to season ticket holders. And in the case of the Lincoln match our own season ticket holders given that its our home game.

Still a lot of empty seats, especially in the Jimmy Mac and a good number in the JHL. I think the crowd will be around 15,000

There's almost a full week of sales to go and a few areas have turned red since this morning, i expect steady sales all week and the JHU and BLS to be just about sold out on Saturday, so that'll mean a similar crowd to the Bristol City game.

It looked very similar before the Bristol City game.

They've not sold out their allocation yet... despite their claims they could sell 10K

My point was their fans claimed they could sell 10K, yet they've still not managed to sell just over 3K the week of the game

Their ST holders and Final StrEight holders have until tomorrow at 4pm to claim their tickets. At the moment they haven't even advertised what happens then to any unsold tickets! Seems a bit amateurish to me!

Reckon very roughly, a 15,245 gate.
With Lincoln not managing to sell 32 tickets, despite the bullshit.
It's a mystery.
Looking forward to a proper cup tie.
Lincoln's are used to winning. Both league and cup.
It's a one off.
Personally, l think it could be a tough game if we don't field a mainly first team side.

Lincoln are to put the rest of the tickets on general sale Thursday.
Seems a lot of tickets to shift in two days unless they have a better system than us in place.

In terms of not putting out a first team....I don't think we have a choice:
GK : Heaton or Pope (I'd expect Pope)
Def: Lowton/Dariwka Keane/Mee/Tarks Ward/Flanagan
Mid: Boyd/JBG Barton/Westwood Arfield
Att: Vokes/Barnes/Gray
That's 16 of our squad, Who else is there? Defour, Long and Marney are injured, Brady is cup tied, Hendrick is suspended, that leaves Robertson, the rest are out on loan. I'd expect to see some youngsters fill the final place(s) on the bench.

indeed, you'd think with only around 1,000 season ticket holders that they'd have given them a small window say Mon-Thurs last week and then put them on General Sale.

Look at the replacements we have used so far in the FA Cup: Pope - highly rated Championship keeper last season; Darikwa - experienced Championship defender highly rated by some posters; Flanagan - on loan from Liverpool, England international; Tarkowski - experienced Championship defender, played in a few PL games, football legend in waiting according to many posters; Gudmundsson - experienced Championship and international player, several PL starts; Vokes - genuine 1st team player. Not a bad set of replacements really.
And any of our bench players should be capable of fitting in at a moments notice as they may be called on at any time due to injury or tactical need.

I'd expect the same team who played the Sunderland and Bristol City games with Westwood for Defour. However I'm sure Dyche did say Defour was a maybe so hopefully he could make the bench

Ok with Pope in goal
And Tarks. Never, ever a problem with Big Sam. Or our Icelandic star.
Not too keen on Flanagan. Has to be a good player in there somewhere, not convinced me though.
Like to see Westwood and Brady start, along with both Lowton & Ward.
Was just saying, they aren't used to losing.
They're on a roll.
Just think we need to take Lincoln really seriously. Really go for it.

I would expect to see Heaton given a day off, Robinson on the bench with the rest of the 1st team squad and 1 place for a development squad player.

Linking Burnley tickets to the purchase of last 8 books was anything but amateurish, it has raised about £100k for the club, a useful amount at our level. Until all those tickets are claimed the club does not know how many tickets are left for general release on Wednesday but since 5000 tickets for the Ipswich match were sold out by 2PM on the day they were released the club know they will sell them so are in no hurry. Not wanting to be intrusive on someone else's board but some posts on here are just plain wrong.

Fair enough. In another post on this thread the point was made that not many Imps fans attended the last game at Turf Moor. Burnley were not in the Prem then so the attraction was not as great. On this occasion the club are aware that any fans who get tickets will be grateful for them and will not mind making travel arrangements at the last minute. It's a seller's market this time.

The crowd should be above 15,000 . One thing to note that Burnley should not field with juniors .One or two may go but the best players have to play . It is a matter of honour .

I'm surprised many think they'll be less Clarets on than there were for brizzle.
14850 or so + 3200 Lincoln fans = 18050
I reckon they'll be 19000+ on.
