Who ate all the pies ?
Blimey, he doesn't look Dyche fit.
He looks a bit like the guy that Hannibal Lecter operated on, and fried a bit of his brain.

In all seriousness, we just have to work as hard as we do and Lincoln will be struggling after about 50 minutes just to keep going.

I'm sure he's the big fat lump used to play for Stags? Seen him several times, pure garbage.
So crap Stags waved goodbye to him

Crikey, you'd have more mobility with that fat Sheffield Wednesday fan up front.
Let's hope we don't play a high line or he could well expose our lack of pace.

You lot are going to potentially get me in trouble.
The photo was merely used in conjuction with the youtube video of Ben Mee.
Some Lincoln fans have said that we may have never come up against a big hard (ooh err) forward and that Brighton ladies and Ipswich couldn't handle him.
Well Ben Mee will battle and eat him for breakfast and Keane will spit the bones out.

What's the over/under for how long he lasts? If it's 3-0 for us at half time (as I suspect it will be), I don't think you'll see him in the 2nd half.

He's actually a decent player at that level as can be seen by Lincoln's success this year.
Be careful slagging these guys off, they will probably bring a lot more to Turf Moor than Sunderland did in Round 3.

He's excellent down at that level. Everything they ping up to him bounces off his head or chest. Non-league centre backs can't get close to him.
Mee and Keane will have their work cut out. Not because he's a classy footballer but because he will be completely different to the kind of player they face week in, week out.
Unless we concentrate and nullify him, Lincoln are only ever two touches (a hoof and a knock down) from a potential goal-scoring opportunity.

Let's be clear, all of football bar Burnley fans want Lincoln to win. I would if I wasn't a Burnley fan and this game is a real banana skin of a match for us. I hope Lincoln play well but ultimately get beat.
Where I have a problem is with some of the stuff coming out of Lincoln. Along with their ludicrous demand for 7,000 tickets I have now read a couple of times about this guy who is going to terrorise the Burnley back four.
Who do you think Burnley would rather be playing in this round Lincoln or Chelsea perhaps. After Chelsea scored against us on Sunday in the 7th minute they did not get another shot on target for the rest of the game.
Do Lincoln really think they are going to terrorise anybody.
As I said, I hope they do well but I think a little humility wouldn't go amiss.

Interesting that he talks about their strengths being their physicality and togetherness. That can be a bid advantage against many premier league teams, as we've found out as those are exactly the qualities many associate with us. So I think Lincoln's big pluses won't be an issue for us, they've probably drawn the one premier league team it won't bother.

I hope the squad players aren't reading all this or they will be getting nervous.
I hope as many first teamers are on the bench as possible to get us out of the s*it
if needed.
I'm nervous, and what with their massive following and so many of them in our stands,
I am genuinely fearful of an upset here, an upset that's live on TV too!

I'm looking forward to seeing the lardy bugger barely get a sniff on Saturday. No point in takings on Fatty Arbuckle at a Cake-Eating Competition; keep the Baker occupied and there won't be any gateau for him to trough.

What will be interesting is to see how we deal with having a lot more possession than we are normally used to.
Its a real shame that Defour is out, as that extra bit of creativity would come in really useful.

Will it be the same team that played Chelsea or will it be a few reserves thrown in too. I get that saying we're going to terrorise a Premier League team comes off as pie in the sky shall we say. Having said that Matt Rhead has a lot my technical skills than just being the big man to head it. Take a look at Luke Waterfalls goal against FGR, Rhead has a lovely backheal flick type of thing. I'm not saying he'll terrorise you but I can guarantee at some point you'll say not bad touch for a big man.
I personally believe I been humble but tbh I've seen some posts from your fans in the last few days that rub up the wrong way a bit. Such as we'll tire after 50 mins. I have a hard time believing that as with Danny Cowley we had some of the best preparation beneath the Championship, this has been stated by a few of the players to have actually played in the championship as well as Trevor Sinclair as well. It just struck me as lazy non league stereotype

You might win, but you are a team in the Conference.
I don't think you have any idea just how good players are at this level, compared to yours.
And thats not being big headed, we came up here two years ago, convinced that because we'd been superb in the championship that our players would be a match for the prem squads. Trust us, we weren't.
In a one off game, there is always a chance, but if your players come into this game like the way some of your fans have, then you are going to have a bit of a rude awakening.

Lincoln have something about them to have knocked 2 decent championship teams out. This lad has done well for them. We need to be very focused, well drilled and clinical. If we are not anything can happen.

It definitely won't be the same side that played Chelsea, but we don't play 'reserves'. They are all first team squad players not 'kids'. Anyone who plays will be experienced first teamers.

That's pretty much what The Lincoln manager was saying - we're their toughest possible opponents for this round (not I think if we we're playing in Lincoln) as Lincoln's style of play would have been more effective against teams like Chelsea and Man City rather than Us.

This is getting ridiculous. There's absolutely no excuses if we don't win the game on Saturday. Id understand if we were playing a very decent League 1 side away from home. But we're playing a side 4 leagues below. Us Burnley fans know the difference between the premier league and championship. Never mind the non league. All this about they're physicality. Like its an unknown. We've just kept Diego Costa quite ffs.

Very true, but people were saying we couldn't lose to Accrington and we did, and they are only a few places above Lincoln.

Looks a bit like Ashley Barnes (plus 4 stones).
Will be a tough game. Dyche will set them up right for it, mentally especially. The longer Lincoln stay in the game the better for them (obviously) and we may start to play nervously. Fatigue could tell, not after 50mins but maybe 3/4 through the game. The early adrenalin-fueled efforts of a lower league team will usually cost them.

Forgetting all the supposed disrespectful back and forth claptrap spouted on various social media platforms.
We all know how Sean Dyche operates now, Danny Cowley Matt Rhead and Lincoln City will have been afforded the respect that matters most of all, that's the respect of Sean Dyche'.
Our team will have been prepared and put as much detail into that preparation on Lincoln City as we do anybody else. Their wont be any untried novices making up the numbers or players unaware of our systems or their responsibilities, or any experiments with formations. Lincoln will be facing a well drilled well organised very experienced extremely fit Premier League football team on Saturday Lunchtime.

Hi guy's just a word on Matt Read, when you see him on the pitch some of you,if not most of you will laugh he doesn't look like a typical footballer,I would describe him as a throwback from the 60s and us Imps love him.i don't think for one minute Sean Dyche will under estimate us unlike McCarthy and Houlton did, they didn't even bother watching the Imps and they got what they deserved . Good luck Saturday guys.
