Confident. I think we're going to disappoint the FA Cup Dreamers and all the neutrals today and win comfortably.

Optimistic.
There are plenty of other teams that could be tripped up
A poor Leicester at Millwall or a resurgent Huddersfield up against Man City even Oxford against a struggling Middlesbrough.

So confident I'm actually going to watch it live. It definitely won't be a walkover but I predict a comfortable 2-0 win.

A strange feeling today, so often we have been the under dogs travelling away to a premier league club with hope or fingers crossed we get a result.
It's a new feeling to have a club coming to our ground thinking they could get a result.
Should we play as we normally do it should be a confident comfortable win. But I spoke to a fellow claret who was on the Wimbledon game. We played a strong side and he said threw everything at them but we simply could not score.
So I have some fear, some excitement but I am not confident it's going to be easy.
I am really glad we did not get drawn away as that really would be a worry.

Excited! I've woken every couple of hours. Time for breakfast and then put some oil in the old banger. (That's the car not the misses)

Let's sing the roof down! UTC!

Wonder who we will face next?

Yes a little nervous. Can't say I like early kick offs. Traditionally for us it has produced a flat atmosphere, but I'm expecting that to change today. We are on the proverbial 'hiding to nothing' and anyone who witnessed the Wimbledon game will not be taking anything for granted. Safe journey to all fellow Clarets and Imps fans travelling up, down or across and lets hope its a memorable match.

Little nervous due to playing an unknown entity but confident of progressing

There will be shocks this weekend but not from our game.
Wins for Milwall, Huddersfield, Oxford & even them lot down the road will make our route to Wembley more clearer

I'm never confident going into match day.

As long as the lads put a shift in, as they always do, we stand a good chance against anyone.

Have got a really bad feeling about today, particularly if we field a team similar to the Bristol game, without Defour's extra bit of class could see it being a struggle.

What's the weather in Burnley this morning? The pitch was "rock hard" when we played Wimbledon. We had a good team out that game (this idea of playing "reserves" didn't exist in 1975). The pitch was the leveller, plus an inspired keeper performance. Wimbledon's goal was a big punt up field, the ball bounced high off the hard ground and beat the defender and it was 0-1. I can still picture it now. :(

Lincoln's manager has given them a 1 game in 100 chance of winning. I'm with the 99 per cent.

Tony Cascarino in today's Times Sport has Fulham to beat Spurs and all the other Prem teams to win.

It says he picked 4 shocks from the last round.

SD played for 3rd division Chesterfield when they went all the way to the semi final, so he knows more than anyone that these games are never a foregone conclusion and never easy. It's still 11 v 11 and you have to respect the opposition and what they've already achieved by getting this far. If you underestimate them you're likely to be goosed! Slightly nervous tbh!

Nervous, but I always am before a match.

Would prefer it if SD picks his first team, but I know he won't so lets hope they all repay his confidence in them.

With the amount of times Wimbledon have been mentioned on here in the last week or so, I'm a complete mess right now. I haven't slept or eaten and I'm shaking like a leaf.

I did think of forgetting about it all and just go for a walk up Pendle Hill, but I'd probably only break my leg or get altitude sickness.

Right that's it, I'm turning my phone off and going back to bed, I can't cope with this.

I shall be sanding down and sealing my shower room floor today whilst the match is on
so shall listen on the radio if it's on. If not make the occasional excursion
to the live text on the BBC.

I'm fairly confident we'll get the win but do wish Lincoln all the best
and hope they have a good game and day.
3-1 for me, no injuries and a home draw in the quarter final.

Followed by at least a draw at Hull next week.
A win at Hull would just about ease any worries that we might still get dragged down and
make it virtually certain we stay up.

I'm never confident and generally hopeless at predicting scores, but today I really think they'll burn themselves out quickly and we'll run out clear winners.

The main reasons non league sides beat higher opposition:

- the "good" team doesn;t turn up
- the "good" team doesn't pay enough respect to their lowly opposition
- the good team rests a lot of players and fields inexperience
- the lower team play a blinder and their "up for it" aggressive style unsettles the "good" team
- Lady luck smiles on the lower placed team

Given that only the last reason here is something we can't do anything about (see Wimbledon and Accrington where we dominated but failed to score) and that Sean Dyche will not let the other factors be actual factors in the game I'm pretty confident we should turn Lincoln over. Don't forget last season we systematically destroyed everyone in the bottom third of the table home and away - simply because we didn't allow poorer sides any advantage.

All those people complaining we wouldn't go up (lots of Boro and Brighton fans too) because we we were simply flat track bullies. Well - here's another chance for said flat track bullies to bully a team.

Will the church bells start peeling when the invading army of thousands arrive so we can flee to the hills with our children and womenfolk.
Burnley win hopefully no bans or injuries.

Optimistic, but what matters to me most is that we don't lose any key players against Hull. Keane, Barton and Gray in particular.

Excited.... feels a bit like FA CUP 3rd round day of old, which we'd won 2 games to get to.
Like others the early kick off making me feel a little unprepared, so a little apprehensive too.

We have to be careful. The last time we had a really strong team in 74/5 we slipped up. Weaken the starting 11 too much and we might struggle. Put a strong side out and we should be OK.

My prediction is that the Lincoln fans will say:

The town is a dump

The ground is a dump

The fans are quiet

Premier league? You are having a laugh

We outplayed them

......how did we lose that? They were so lucky

Confident that SD will have prepared everyone properly.

Add to that both Sean and a fair proportion of the squad have played in leagues 1/2 and below so don't think we're going to surprised by Lincoln's style or approach.

Their manager has been impressive, he'll have them well organised and difficult to play against - and like us they've always got an out ball so that might relieve some of the pressure.

But, just don't see us leaving anything to chance. The players chosen for the FA Cup have done a very professional job so far and not conceded a goal. If it's tight we can change it from the bench.

Don't expect a big score but don't expect a shock either.

Still have that feeling in the back of my mind , i think it's called fear of losing .
They will be all 100 miles an hour at the start of the game i think it will be 0-0 at HT then we will pick them off in the second half when they tire 2-0 . In the hat and i would take anyone at home but would love Arsenal as we own they this season after been robbed twice .

Yesterday was SO bad and so PATHETIC that it has almost made it easier to shrug ones shoulders and almost laugh at it. I was fuming and embarrassed last night but now it is more a comical snigger.

I suspect our players are strong enough to reflect in a positive way and put yesterday to bed.
