And we'll be a standard future Pub Quiz question, " Which is the only top-flight Club to be knocked out twice at home by a non-league team ? "

On the negative this could have a detrimental impact on the mentality of our players at, what is now, a crucial period where we have, four games is it, away from home.

I doubt it, the squad have already shown there metal in the past (not such extreme circumstances like). I expect a big reaction. Sooner we get Hendrick back the better.

On the positive side we have Lowton, Ward, Mee, Hendrick, Brady, Defour and Barnes to play in the Premier League. Just as well after today's performance.

Two potential trips to Wembley would have had a heavy impact on my summer holiday budget.

I'm was due to fly back from Kathmandu / Nepal on the day of the semi final , so that solves that problem, plus on final day I have tickets for a courteners gig, so it saves a dilemma

On the positive, we can have a day out in Liverpool on a weekend now instead of midweek.

I don't have to put up with the Neanderthals that seem to appear for cup games.

Weird today, I missed the match due to a pre-arranged trip to London. Followed the text updates intermingled with a bit of Radio 5 and it just felt inevitable as the game wore on that we'd either concede or draw 0-0 at best. It just felt like it wasn't our day and we never got our game going.

The positive is that it's what Dyche might call a 'Straightener' - I think we will react by beating Hull next week.

It also means that Dyche falls back into the realms of a slightly more mediocre manager from the perspective of the media, might just be the result that keeps some other clubs away from snooping after our manager.
