Thief not found yet, but the shop owner remains undeterred. Good old Donald.

Hopefully the thief is found soon. And this thread doesnt disappear with the safe like last thread did! Plenty of the local community who frequent the shop no doubt read this board.

If anyone has seen or heard anything or recognises the thief please let us know.

Off topic slightly but the Padiham on Parade were advertising for a Black pudding stall for the event on their facebook page today if you think they might be interested.
A very good and well attended event last year that will get bigger this time.

Typical Burnley Express - footage and photos of the culprit are in the public domain but the paper chooses to publish neither the footage nor a link to the facebook page.

The police couldnt get the time o the incident right. Broad daylight and they said it was 7pm. We went and took pictures at 7pm to prove it wasnt. 'We are only going off the information we have!'

Common sense alone showed that info was wrong.

The police struggle to wipe their own arses unless they can get their batons out to do it half the time.

I clicked on here because I thought the thread title was the best I've ever seen.

Presumably this is the little deli on the right as you enter Burnley market at the top of the stairs? Very sorry to hear that some scumbag took off with the safe and hope he is caught and bought to book soon.

On the other hand it's reassuring to hear the business is continuing unabated. They are the best black puddings bar none. I used to take orders from several people in Nottingham for these glorious, traditional delicacies.

All the best to Donald and anyone else working for the business.
