Sherwood Atkins Dowie - SAD!

That is exactly what Rovers fans will be if they appoint any of them!

Rumoured to have been in and around the area and immediately ready to take the reins against Burton.

He's better than coyle, that's all I know.

Debatable really. He has been looking for another shot at management for ages after his last couple of failed attempts and it has been a while since anyone was stupid enough to let him take the helm.

Management requires a large amount of good luck, and we all know that Dowie has nothing but bad looks. ;)

I Assume you mean Steve Evans? I hope not as he isn't an awful manager despite seemingly being not a nice person. I want someone who will continue / improve on what Coyle had started.

Please Tim Sherwood. I'd even be willing to see him keep them up this season just so he's in charge of getting them fit over the summer. They'd be a surefire bet to finish rock bottom the following year.

Either way, it's all just sooooo funny.

I did mean Steve Evans (thank you) and yes he is an awful manager. Sherwood would be too good for them. Evans and chicken wings.

He spent the evening on Sky's soccer special. He was part of the conversation with and about Cotterill wanting the job. He wasn't too complimentary about Venkys whereas Cotterill didn't offer a view on that for some reason.

Although I don't have a problem managerial ability wise with cotterill, as I did with coyle, I think as another ex Burnley manager, he'd be on a loser with rovers fans from the start.

There is some half decent names on the list unfortunately for us, the good news is that Rowett has ruled himself out.
I would fancy Adkins, Warburton, Rowett, Evans and Sherwood to keep them up. Please be David Dunn

He may be an awful manager and a fairly loathsome chap, but his record as a manager is very good in terms of games won and / or not lost. I believe he has won 8 promotions in his time as a manager.(Admittedly he is not proven at Championship level).
He also went up in my estimation after his post-match interview at the Turf last season.

Isn't he from Nelson?

That'll be Agent Phelan then if he gets it. To carry on the good work left to him.
