Oh dear that's not a bad appointment, may I be the first to wish him no luck at all

I liked Mowbray, but he couldn't turn Cov around, so hopefully his efforts at Deadwood will be equally fruitless.
The squad might turn against him if he actually asks them to train during the week.

Presumably they must have had him already lined up.

He made a raft of crap signings at Boro when he was there, Boro fans can't stand him nor do they rate him in the slightest.

No doubt about it. Like they had sheepsteeth lined up before he left USA.
Hope he makes a chickens ear of it.

Dissapointed it's not Dowie,Good Luck Agent Mowbary in your quest to carry on Coyle's excellent half finished mission.

I think your statement needs qualifying. Boro fans don't rate him as a manager; as a player he was (and remains) an absolute legend on Teesside.

As a manager, my bad.

Mowbray's rumoured first signing is to be Wayne Shaw. However, Shaw is refusing to eat Chicken, insisting red meat is for real men.

Their fans appear to have set their hearts on Nigel Adkins and are not impresssed with the new appointment.
They don't seem to realise that this is one of the biggest poisoned chalices in football.

He's capable of being a decent manager.
Let's hope Coyle was thorough in his work and the damage is done.
Having failed at 'Boro and Coventry, he's in last chance saloon here. Let's also hope the Venkys are their usual selves and provide him an impossible working environment.

On the plus side he's got form for stringing together a number of winless games, making crap expensive signings and losing the fans trust.

It doesn't matter who comes in right now. They've no money, no time to spend it even if did, and are currently haemorrhaging points like nobody's business.
Mowbray would probably be a good fit with them if they had a whole season to bed him in, but he's not the kick in the arse type gaffer they need for their last 15 fixtures, starting with arguably the most important one on Friday.
He's no Warnock type.

Reassurance from BRFCC:
He's never had a win percentage above 40% in English football. We need to win more than 40% of of next 15 games that's for damn sure!!

Another gem from BRFCC -
On Mowbray with Lowe as his assistant and Dunny as first team coach this is clearly the cheapest possible option, and we will pay the price for it. Uninspring appointment to say the least but I expected nothing less from our owners, already preparing for league one we are by the looks of things.

Before this season started I backed them to go down. Last week I was thinking of cashing out - they haven't been playing that bad recently and I was starting to think that they might have enough in them to get out of the bottom 3.

Dunn promoted too!
I'm sure he's a wizard at handing out delectable chicken drumsticks, coated with something nasty-looking, during training breaks. Oh, and teaching the players how to get away with offside.

I'd consider cashing out, depending on what price you get. Purely because if they end up going down and you've cashed out, you'd still have a big smile on your face.

Mowbray is a busted flush and will be gone in 3 months with a nice 15 month payout.

He isn't exactly Mr Charisma, so I don't expect him to inspire a great revival. However, he should be better at organising the defence than Judas.

I've just switched on to say that the Daily Mirror has an article saying they are considering appointing Tim Sherwood and thought surely not, yes please. Unfortunately Mowbray is a much better/worse choice. Let's hope it's to late to turn it round.

I can't see him being the answer to their problems. Didn't he leave Coventry bottom of League One in September?
