Well done to all involved who gave birth to this new forum ~ it loads very quickly with no hassles whatsoever and looks highly user-friendly and accessible ~ I'm sure there will be many claret and blue birds flying over

Hello all. I was a long-time lurker on CM but never registered. What a pain that site became - even with ad-block. So here I am, and Ive disabled adblocking on this domain!

Cheers for trying it without the adblocker. I think Tony and DiBradio, in time, will be wanting to find out how the experience is and address any issues.

just testing my username . nice site, excellent, quick, responsive messageboard. is there an option on here to correct spelling as you type? as u can with some boards.

A New Board for the New Year, a very welcome development. Congrats to all for a job well started.
New impetus both on and off the field for 2016. Exciting times.

Many thanks to Tony and the others who have worked so hard, and to such good effect, to set up this Board. I had become something of a lapsed CM visitor - UTC seems a far superior forum.
I was Irishclaretboy on CM - something of a misnomer, even all those years ago when I first registered. My new UTC username is a lot more honest.

Just registered. (Have allowed pop ups for this site only, at least I think I have!)
Been hoping for a website like this for years.
SD going well on the pitch, infrastructure off the pitch getting sorted, finally a brill new website to go with everything else.
Massive thanks all round

I've re-registered under another pseudonym, though I was far from an avid poster on CM. Great to have a board without those dreadful ads! UTC!!!

I't's not all good... I loved the advice targeted at me.
I'm now running low on both "Diet Pills" and *No need to go to the gym Pills".
I've put on 5 stone and now need a new car. Maybe a Kia?
Well done ALL for sorting this out.
Anyone got any diet pils spare?

Back to checking in at least daily on burnley talk. Realised just how much I had missed that since I gave up on the other place. Happy days all great so far.

Wow - you get too busy to go online for a few days and suddenly come into the old house to find it a bit empty!!! Sorry I'm late to the party but spent most of my hour online last night trying to see what happened!
Re: A Warm Welcome to the Bee Hole End - a new online home for Burnley fans!
I'm in. Adverts became unbearable. Rarely post but this will be first point of call going forward.
Good luck

Seeing is believing. The way this has taken off is remarkable. In the other place there have been 3 posts so far today. Just look at this so far.

Re: A Warm Welcome to the Bee Hole End - a new online home for Burnley fans!
Well done to all concerned.
Just a minor gripe (constructively), but in my opinion I'm not sure the threads flow as nicely as they could. At first I though the font size may be the issue, but it appears to be the similar to that of CM, BBC and SharePoint that I use at work. 2 of those are 0.5 larger which may make a bit of a difference. it could just be the font itself rather than the size. What I think is the main reason for me is the big font use for the repetitive heading (is that needed?) combined with the small username which combined with the font doesn't stand out.
I'm sure I'll get used to it, but if it was my site I'd be playing around with the fonts, etc to get something that was a little easier to read/follow.
Should point out I visit this site mostly on work lunches and flick between work and reading threads, which is why quickly picking up where I left off is important to me.

Didn't realise this was happening as I haven't been on CM for some time due to its massive decline. This looks great and I'm sure it will get back to its best. Well done to all involved. UTC

I'm glad I had a quick look on the old site this morning to see the post match reaction, otherwise I would have been none the wiser!
Looking forward to using this site like I used CM during the 'golden age'.

It's been ages since I posted on Clarets Mad because of all the adverts and idiots on there, so willing to give this site a go! Good luck and well done to all involved!

Congrats to everyone involved with the birth of this new baby. My username gives the clue of where I now live. After moving from the Accrington area in 2013 I'm now in the Darnhill area of Heywood. Looking forward to a big improvement to 'my Burnley message-board'.
2016 is a massive year for me and this has got it off to a great start. Just waiting to start a new job as a Vehicle Delivery rep, (first permanent job in 5 years) couple of holidays to look forward to, 2 weeks in Hurghada, Egypt in 4 weeks, followed by my first visit to Vegas for a fortnight at the end of March and to top it all off, I'm getting married (handsfasting actually) in June.
Staying at the MGM Grand in Vegas so will be asking for advice from any previous visitors either to the hotel or Vegas itself.

Happy Birthday UpTheClarets!
A great first year and the site continues to grow and develop.
Huge thanks to CT and DiBradio for all their hard work in providing such an easy to use platform.
'Coincidentally', I received an email from the other side yesterday, claiming that their site was the best on the network and that they'd like to see me return soon!!!
Well done all.
UP THE CLARETS!!!!

I'm guessing that he has enough supporters, and May is weak enough that she doesn't have any choice.
This is going to be fun as the Tories self combust.
