Sunderland are looking like certs.

Boro fans are starting to lose faith already and it probably wont be long before they start booing, so that could finish them off.

I'll wait until Leicester play tomorrow night before I decide on a 3rd.
Hull could be the 3rd team.

Boro, Leicester, and Sunderland. Hull and Swansea look to be working their way out of bother. Crystal Palace seem to be turning the corner, and Bournemouth can still score goals.

Sunderland, Boro and Leicester for me.

Sunderland are toss. Boro can't score, never mind win. Leicester were certs under Ranieri but may be able to rediscover some of last season's team spirit and get themselves out of trouble in which case it could be Hull who seem to lack any real quality.

Despite the improvement I still think Hull will go.

Ideally I'd like, Leicester, Palace and Boro but if I had to put money on it then Hull, Sunderland and Boro.

Sunderland, Palace, Boro; Hull and Leicester just scraping home.
I can see 17th/16th escaping with just 34/35 points

Would be most pleased if Sunderland, Hull and Boro survived at the expense of Palace, Bournemouth and Leicester. The more northern and least southern the better.
Likewise for promotion it would be Newcastle, Sheff Wed and Udders. Even Leeds are more preferable than the likes of Brighton, Reading, etc.

Too early to call. Both Hull and Swansea have had an upturn and Bournemouth and Leicester in free fall. Remember Leicester from 2 yr ago however. In last 10 years one of the relegated clubs has gained 11 or more points from their last 12 games with a range from (I think) 11-16. Pts needed to stay up 31-40 average 36 (assumes one pt more than 18th placed club). No occasion when the best relegated team had 21pts or less at this stage.

It wouldn't be football season if there wasn't at least one club in crisis in the North East rejected...

Sunderland and Boro are certs for me at the moment. The third could be anyone. I don't think Palace are out of it at all. I quite fancy Leicester to have a "bounce" after Ranieri's departure so Palace could quickly find themselves in the bottom 3 again. I think Hull will have enough to stay up as well. It's a tough one.

Sunderland look the only team that look to be going down at the moment. There's a case for the others to survive.

Who I'd like to go down: Hull, Palace, Boro.
You can throw Leicester and Bournemouth into the mix as well, but not as much as the 3 above.

Dont think there is much chance of Leicester going down. Sunderland look doomed as do Hull. Cant see Swansea taking the drop or Bournemouth. It`s between Palace and Boro and I think Boro have a fairly tough run in, so its Sunderland, Boro and Hull for me.

Can't see Bournemouth going down.

Think Sunderland Hull & Leicester

but hope Boro replace any of those three just because of their manager.

I'm with FCBurnley. I did one of those predictor things and Sunderland, Boro and Hull went down. Hull and Palace finished on equal points but stayed up on goal difference.

Bournemouth & Boro going down would be the icing on the cake of a top season.

Sunderland, Boro and Bournemouth

Sunderland: nailed on.

Boro : They can't win matches only able to draw with a manager who will blame everybody but himself

Bournemouth: Eddie Howe is just not capable of setting out a back 4 and he is now getting found out

Because it's looking good I'm sticking to the same three I said in July - Leicester, Hull and Middlesbrough.

I have a feeling though that Sunderland will ruin that initial prediction.

Crosspool- you can get 33/1 on those being the three.

I decided to have a few quid on my selection here. lowest odds were
Sunderland, Hull, Palace 4/1;
Sunderland, Hull, Boro 5/1
Sunderland, Palace, Boro 8/1 (my bet)
Sunderland, Hull, Leicester 9/1
Sunderland, Hull, Swansea 10/1
Sunderland, Boro, Leic 12/1

Odds will definitely change after tonight's match I guess- certainly if Leicester win they will.

Boro and Palace have some awful fixtures.
Boro's last eight definitely are.

Add Sunderland to that as they are awful and in all honesty for doing it every year deserve to go down.
Mine, Boro, Sunderland and Hull.

I thought Hull were poor.
Maybe made them look poor as they have improved of late.

Sunderland are already dead and buried. Hull will struggle and Boro can't score. So them.

Unfortunately.

As I really wanted Leicester and Palace to drop

Sunderland, Boro and Hull relegated with Newcastle to blow promotion would make for a very difficult championship next season !

Revised my opinion, I ad thought Sunderland capable of the great escape a couple of weeks ago but developments since have changed my mind. Thought Leicester would be struggling but with tonight's result think they may yet turn it around at the 11th hour (sadly given them given their history and treatment of CR). So for me its now Sunderland, Middlesboro and Bournemouth who are dropping like a stone suddenly.

If last nights performance is anything to go by then so will Hull. They had a comfortable victory over Liverpool as well.

Any other evidence as to why Leicester will finish mid-table apart from one result?

Didn't they beat Man City as easily?

Obvious evidence is that they have got rid of there manager who had lost the dressing room.

Leicester turned into a relegation outfit literally over night and they will turn back into a mid table side just has fast

Far to good a side to be in the bottom half of the league as they will now prove

I really don't care as long as one of them is "boro

They have an attitude of thinking we nicked the championship from them last year, were not magnanimous in general, and I'd just like the edge of showing we can stay up and they can't, just to make the point
