If you are travelling east on M60 towards the A56 junction (Prestwich/Whitefield) I'd look for an alternative. I'm on an X43 and driver has just abandoned trying to get onto the motorway and we've gone towards Bury.
I looked down onto motorway and there seems to be nothing moving.

What did you watch at the cinema?
Is an orange jacket classed as a step up or step down from a rose in the jacket lapel?

Just wondering if CT and Claretpope have made it home safely ?
That is the junction i come off every night coming home from work and if i had a pound for every time there are delays there i would be able to buy Balaji Rao's medallion collection.

Brilliant isnt it travelling home from Manchester at peak time. Ah the joys of the Smart motorway, 'Sinister Island' and crawling all the way back to Burnley. Fortunately I left early today and missed it but its like that most nights.

You'll need to wait for next weeks episode.
We're going to arrange for Paddy McGuinness to update us with how they got on at Fernandos.

Did they go for something to eat, or just a drink?
I assume they drink real ale, so which boozers were they going too, I can't stand half a tale.

Good stuff let's hope there's no delays tomorrow, setting off via the famous Junction 17 in the morning myself.

Would seriously suggest anyone going to Manchester takes the train as of Monday, and forever. 35 weeks of works start Monday to reduce Bury New Road in Prestwich to one lane each way, permanently.
It's the most insane traffic scheme I can imagine, pushed through by Bury council in the face of local opposition here, and it will bring gridlock to north Manchester and back into the already stacked M60.
I imagine the bus company might view this as the final straw for the x43 current route, but for now, bear this in mind if you're planning to use it as of Monday evening!

That will be horrendous. I use the bus because it's free with my bus pass and I'm only around 3 mins from bus stop.
Bury New Road gets very busy at peak times. Can't imagine how bad it will become.
