Who knows. Just wait for a team sheet, Tom was ill and they kept that quiet.

Sean likes to keep his cards "close to his chest." And, quite right.

Starting with Scotty in this game might be wise, if it's still a draw with say 15 to go then bring Brady on to try for a winner, just in my view.

Weird decision. Brady plays at left back all the time. Surely he's capable of doing a defensive job in midfield?

Excellent news Arfield for half hearted Brady. Need all the tracking back we can get! Feel sorry for Big Sam. Win headers last week Barnes a threat though. Come on you Clarets.

Horses for courses. We are going to need Arfields defensive work rate today, if we want to have a glimmer of a chance.
Brady's time will come.

This is a complete pxxs take by Sean.Arfield has been poor most of the season and to leave out our creative players Defour and Brady against a team with a shaky defence is ridiculous .

At some point, we are going to have to actually try and win an away game. Grafters over flair won't get us an away win.

Arfield in for Brady.oh dear so let's have runners with zero pace or creativity, let's play the same formation even though it hasn't worked in the other 13 away games.TRY a different formation.

We won't be doing much attacking then. I have a feeling Gray will have a good game though so hope he can nick something from the long balls.

I guess SD accepting we won't be troubling them much so put a grafter in like Scotty.Pains me see such low end championship tosh like SA starting against a powerhouse club but only SD knows how to set up the best team available . If nothing else Scotty will always put a shift in

Looks like we'll be defending all game then....Why play two up front when we won't be able to get the ball to them apart from massive punts up field?

Well weren't going to be doing too much attacking whoever was on the pitch. Liverpool are always going to have most of the ball and commit men forwards so this is always going to be a game in which we firstly have to perform well without the ball and then secondly take our chances to counter attack. Arfield and Boyd know our system defensively and it isnt like Brady has been pulling up trees on the ball in the last couple of games. I'd have started Brady myself for his set pieces but the logic of the selection is clear and it isnt particularly negative.

I think if Gudmun or Defour were fit he would have played Brady and Vokes and give a real 442 wingers .crosses et al go . Then again...

"lower end Championship tosh". Idiot.

Start showing more respect to players who have won us two consecutive promotions from the Championship and are on course to consolidate our position in this division.

good decision for me, tells Brady he isn't working hard enough regardless of how much he cost

Maybe as an attacking winger Brady isn't used to running backwards yet...makes sense

It says to me that Dyche has his doubts over Brady's form, but it's also a less attacking move. Having Boyd on one side who couldn't take on a tortoise is fine, but both wingers having little to no chance of ever going down the wing is slightly disappointing.

Anyway, COYC. A draw would be a marvelous result.

I think Boyd and arfields "tracking back" is overrated. Just watch them today. They will run a lot, but there won't me much in terms of stopping counter attacks, stopping crosses, stopping the full backs overlapping. It's mostly ineffective in comparison to a "normal" winger, because it just invites their full backs forward. That makes their defensive midfield drop slightly, and gives gray and Barnes absolutely no room. Especially as we hit it straight down the middle most of the time to them

You can hold whatever opinion you like. It doesnt stop it being idiotic and disrespectful but if that's what you think, so be it.

Our wide players have been excellent so far.

Really? Fair enough. I think he's been excellent. Kept the ball well, stepped into the centre of midfield when needed and tracked Mane and Clyne effectively.

But then i thought until that equaliser we'd produced about a perfect away performance, so i thought all our players had been excellent as a minimum.

Arfield is the worst player on the pitch. If Arfield and Boyd could head the ball further than a yard then we would still be in front
