At a game this season we had a Pope on our bench whilst the opposition had Jesus on theirs.

That must be pretty rare.

Now we have Moses scoring goals and tonight Abraham joins the club.

Can we fill a team full of bible named players?

Owen Archdeacon and Charlie Bishop both played for Barnsley. Chris Priest (Bury and Chester I think).

Then of course, there is any winger who can put in a good cross..
And David Icke, former goalie turned religious nutcase. "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Goalie Post"

There must be some non-Abrahamic faith subs, just to be more inclusive - but I'm not sure how many of their atrocities can be justified in their scriptures..
