Fair play, my friend... assuming certain well known "Search Engines " weren't involved !!

The re-mastered DVD is out currently, with Bonus stuff and interviews with some of the performers... I bet tckets for that show were a hot item at the time !!

The TCB Band were Elvis Presley's Touring Band from 1969-1977, and formed the basis of Emmylou Harris's " Hot-Band " as well. Presley knew James Burton from his playing on Ricky Nelson's early hits " Hello Mary-Lou ", " Travellin' Man " etc, Glenn Hardin had played with " The Crickets " after Buddy Holly's death, Ronnie Tutt wowed Elvis at an audition, & Jerry Scheff, then into Jazz & R&B, only went to play at the Rehearsals at Burton's begging...
" I told my wife " I'm not going to do it, I just want to see what Elvis is like ".. within 40 minutes of rehearsing, he rang his wife " Get down here, Vivienne, you gotta see this guy.." He recalled later " Elvis blew me away with his talent, blew us both away !! "

No I know it well, have it on blue ray believe it or not - even though it's in black and white.

Due to having Elvis obsessed parents I can't even begin to count how many times I've met the TCB band. I think James Burton recognising me and remembering my name is my biggest claim to fame haha.

In reality it just goes to show that idealism doesn't work, even though it's being promoted as possible in football, it assumes 'MAXXING EVERYTHING' is what makes up a recipe of ingredients.

In that sense, it's an interesting game to play as it exposes the myth of a particular notion of perfection.

This has been a challenge to put together....I genuinely think that all these people could play together and work well.

Backing Vocals: Paul Rodgers (Free/Bad Company), Kate Bush, David Coverdale (Whitesnake)
Lead Guitar: Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin)
Rhythm Guitar: Lindsay Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac)
Bass Guitar: Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple) OR if I wanted a more heavy and less "funky" feel then I'd go for Duff McKagan (Guns 'n' Roses)
Keyboards: Jon Lord (Deep Purple)
Drums: Harry James (Magnum/Thunder)
