A 'like' also acts as a favourite/bookmark too on Twitter, so you don't forget where you saw the tweet and go back to it when you wish by clicking 'likes' on your profile. I'm sure not all people literally liked the news.

Unfortunately from the footage on sky news there appears to be a number of bodies covered on the bridge which can't be good news.

No. The only hope is that they are the bodies of the assailants really.

Sky showing unnecessary photographs at the moment, 30 minutes after the event.
One poor person at the bottom of some steps looks in a bad way - they may have been knocked off the bridge itself, and ended up down there, quite a big drop.
- easy to do isn't it...a big vehicle and a knife [at least].

Keep saying they feel we should see these images so we know the severity of whats happened.
I agree with you it is unnecessary though, they also had live views of the bridge from a helicopter and it looked a lot like they were covering a body to which they apologised for and swiftly switched the feed.
Confirmed at least 1 woman has died.

What I really mean is...the pictures of some individuals are very clear [the face is hidden] but all their clothes are visible, and I guess if it was your wife receiving treatment on the pavement, you would recognise her, long before you had any communication from anyone about the incident.
Not great that is it?

Looking like a, thankfully, very poor attempt at a terrorist strike. (In no way is that statement meant in any disrespect to the victims today)
These people, as it will turn out, will have been on the ''Watch List''
Bomb Disposal on site - possibly in connection with the parked up suspect grey Saloon reported earlier.

Your own post was removed.
I'm sure plenty of planned attacks have been foiled but difficult to prevent one off sporadic attacks. Expect more bollards to go up everywhere now which will be a good thing.

On topic now, these attacks are impossible to prevent when you think about it.

My thoughts exactly, leave the ****** where he fell. Use all available resources on the victims first, if even one person had to wait longer for an ambulance or response team to save this ****, then i despair.

Suggestion that the knife attacker got out of the car that caused the chaos on the bridge after it crashed through the gates - would explain how he got into the courtyard area

Agree with posts above. Not much you can do about this. Hardly the work of a sophisticated terror network, although they'll claim it is of course.
One guy with a car and a kitchen knife. Probably a petty criminal, life not panned out as he hoped, bit of a loser. Gets his 24 hours on the News and feels like he's part of something important.
Also agree with hammy for once, the Sky News pics of seriously injured victims are pretty poor. I can guess what 'catastrophic' injuries look like, I don't need to see the poor sod, and I'm absolutely certain he doesn't want the world gawping at him at that moment.

Are you kidding? Keep the ******* alive and make him live a life imprisonment. Use him to find out future attacks and prevent more people from being killed in the future. He wants to die, that's part of why they do it, they believe they are doing it for the good of their god. If they die they get what they want.

That's America. In the UK we're pretty good at calling a terrorist a terrorist regardless of race or religion.

The British press and politicians are generally better at calling these things for what they are than their American counterparts; for sure. That also includes right wing attacks like with Tommy Mair as well.
I do say generally though, it's certainly not all by any stretch.

There are people who like it when these kinds of thing happen. Some of the because it makes them feel vindicated by their hatred of those who have think in common with the killer, such as race or religion. And there are some people who like it because they get to make a political point against what they imagine people they disagree with politically will try to say. It happens a lot in the US where people instinctively see things like this as a propaganda opportunity but not so much in the UK. Claretandy is proof that there are
some of those types here, but he's the exception not the rule.
2 people are dead. I think we can at least wait till they're cold before we blame liberals for it, or the right for it, or whoever we want to be to blame for it.

3 hot meals a day, a warm bed at night and 24hr protection awaiting for that scumbag.
Probably be a better life than he had on the outside.
I'd like to see him gutted.
I don't think I could resist not shooting him in the head, if I was the first officer on the scene.
