"what a duck egg". Ages since I heard that expression. My dad (a Syker) used to use that a lot when we were watching matches- usually aimed at some opposition player who was being made to look useless by that great team we had in the late 50s /early 60s.
Not sure where that expression originates though- duck eggs are great aren't they (fried and on toast for breakfast).
