I reach retirement age September next year, so if they could keep the vacancy open until then I'd be more than happy to apply for it.
I'm not available Saturdays though. :D

It's a vital role that was initially filled by Chris Sulley but he's been gone for a while now.

Nah, he can watch via webcam or youtube, he only needs half an hour to spot if a player has talent, he's stated as such before.

Yeah, but it takes a long time on the training ground to then teach them how to play in a new position.

Good point, he can watch his crop of Tarkowski's grow whilst monitoring the youth set up.

Not sure when he went but it's around a couple of months ago that I found out. Wasn't popular from what I'm told and he's been quickly moved on for whatever reason.

My lad is at the academy so I got to see Sulley several times. His sessions were more about himself than the lads he was coaching. He came across as extremely arrogant and the feedback (openly negative criticism) he gave to young lads and the way he did it, such as digging them out publicly, made my blood boil. Thankfully he didn't last long afterwards so obviously I wasn't alone in my judgment of him.
