I remember seeing it in the local press when they were on Trafalgar Street.

I was going to watch the others last night but only the third episode is available to download from iPlayer via my Sky box.

I only started this thread so that wile e coyote can come along soon and tell us all that it just isn't comedy, and it was appealing to the uneducated masses and molluscs who frequent this board! ;)

Is it a new series or the old one?

I liked the old one, some very funny stuff in it.

Incidentally, I'm not sure who the actor is playing the female employee dressed as a smurf in episode 2. :?

Anyone know?

as has been said, his route to work is an odd one if you know manchester. up the a6, back down the a6 and across to chorlton with a couple of loops of weaste/pendlebury thrown in.

i used to live up the road from where he had the run in with the cyclist, fact fans, the blue plaque was just out of shot

Excellent comedic material. Watched a couple of the older ones on Monday night and the scene where he leaves his car at the traffic lights to post his mother's birthday card then races back to his car is absolute 'slapstick' of the highest quality.

Hi quoonbeatz, why did they put a blue plaque on the side of the road where Peter Kay had been filming? North West would be full of blue plaques if that was the case... ;)

Great Car Share last night.

I re-watched the last 2 episodes of the previous series on Monday night as warm up.

I turned off the last series when the girl in the car said: "Oh I thought you were gay because you were on your own." What an absolute scandal to indite solitary folk in such a manner without any recourse at all from 'family man' Peter Kay, Bolton tudsh*t that he is, for that.

I like when they're in Wigan and there's a road side sign with 'Pie Sale' on it, and the transit van with 'No Pies Are Left In This Vehicle Overnight' sign on the back. :D

And in the second where they're doing a u turn at the pub called The Dog And Two C0cks'

He's saying that it is unacceptable to suggest that a man who doesn't have a female partner is a homosexual.

However it's Psotto who is as mad as a bag of ferrets and is only joking.

Not odd at all. Normal. That's how people watch television now. One episode right after the other. As for ratings - they'll be massive. Every episode is in the top ten on iPlayer.

We watched 1,2&3 last night

To be honest I'm not sure many people watch that much telly at all.

My family are either watching YouTube, Twitch, on an App or playing PC/Console games!

Binont that's right. I watch his stand up roles and find them funny but not at solitary folk's expense, after all, would the lady in the car turn her nose up at solitary James Bond, if they met eyes across the casino table?

If he wants to laugh at himself or laugh with the audience at what one does, that's OK, but to make gratuitous fun of folk, for reasons of his own uber alles sexual politics, is NOT OK.

Stuff like that goes down in culture, like that stupid Madonna record demanding that women 'test' their men, to 'see if the love is real.' It's a mandate to act out greivous hate to every b*tch in the country.

Yeah. 'Television' has a different meaning now. I watch a lot of television. It's just often not on a television.

Do you think I'm giving Madonna too much credit for all the fisticuff muppetology that goes on on a weekend down Burnley, as they set one bloke off against another, via the big b*tch media excite, fidel?

Maybe so... I hope so in fact, I don't really want to give her any credits at all.

He's right. Blokes never had fights over women before Madonna legitimised it!!

...Settle down, settle down, just a bit of conspiracy theory as to where the rise of captious b*tch pc fascist culture eminated from. I blame California, oh and Germaine Greer.

I've given up on Peter Kay's car share, I think it's pandering to that culture, but I don't know how that 'battle of the sexes' pans out, but you that watch it might know better. Well? Who's winning him or her?

decent fodder for the office working, golf loving 20-40 year olds. Nothing belly laugh anywhere in both series. Picked up a bit of pace as a "must watch" programme. Hype does amazing things.
Its a modern love story in a cliched whirlpool of northerness. Mums, grannies, Debbie at work and you lot will adore the show.
its passes the time tv, nothing more, nothing less.
