Heaton 8 Some good saves a little weak on a few crosses
Lowton 8 Solid throughout
Keane 8 a 10 in the 1st half. Brought the ball out brilliantly and started good moves a few times. Nearly scored first half and largely untroubled at the back in the first 45. Second half a couple of mistakes and Lukaku turned him for the goal although hard to deal with that pace and power.
Mee 8 solid throughout a few dodgy bits of distribution causing us problems but defensively very good.
Ward 8 a bit of a dodgy start when he jumped in to one challenge but grew into the game and was solid.
Barton 7 Gave the ball away a few times but picked up second balls and won headers well
Hendrick 7 overall we did well in midfield to stop them playing particularly in the first half
Boyd 6 worked hard offered nothing going forward
Brady 6 ok defensively and a couple of decent balls but wasteful at times
Barnes 6 A pain for defenders but 0 goal threat
Vokes 7 By far the better of the two strikers although should have scored from one of the two chances. Won some good headers and got into some good positions
Gray 6 game over shortly after he came on and no chance to do anything

A tough one, because for 30 minutes we were fantastic, but we did lose 3-1.
Heaton 8 - a few very good saves and not at fault for the goals
Lowton 7 - very solid game defensively and a few forays forward
Mee 9 - thought he was outstanding again today
Keane 8 - Great going forward, could have scored, but Lakaku left him for dead once and that is all it takes
Ward 8 - another very strong game from him
Brady 6 - big fan before he joined us and remain one but he seems to lose the ball too easily
Hendrick 7 - solid but not inspiring
Barton 7 - read the game very well, but like Keane, one slip cost us
Boyd 6 - defensively solid as always but little going forward
Barnes 6 - seemed subdued today
Vokes 6 - in the game but seem slow to react to a couple of real chances

Heaton 8 Unlucky with their second
Lowton 8 Very good again
Keane 7 Struggled in the second half and have the ball away a lot
Mee 7 solid enough but some shocking passes
Ward 7 not quite upto his recent standards
Barton 8* won the ball well and covered every blade of grass
Hendrick 7 fair game
Boyd 6 covered well but nothing going forward
Brady 8 best so far and becoming our main playmaker
Barnes 6 no threat
Vokes 6 got to take chances and now injured
Gray 6 got to play your main striker
Very good game but our finishing is simply not good enough

I thought first half hour we were excellent, after that we produced a perfermonce full of effort and endeavour and did not deserve to lose that 3-1.
Heaton 8
Lowton 8
Ward 7
Keane 7 rolled too easy by lukaku, but better players than him will suffer the same
Mee 8 solid MoM
Boyd 6 did what he does well
Barton 6 good until his misplaced pass lead to the pressure and the Barkley goal, then poor (might be being harsh)
Hendrick 7 solid
Brady 7 I like the fact he wants to carry the ball forward and deliver it, yes he lost it sometimes but he is positive
Barnes 4 Struggling to remember the positives
Vokes 7

Poor finishing, along with one or two bad balls at bad was our undoing.
Aside from that, was amongst our best away showings this season.

Finding some of the Barnes comments strange, he created space for Sam on numerous occasions, did he usual winning if free kicks etc.

Brady will look better we he has a striker or two he can interplay with. A couple of times he hit the ball into feet and moved off the strikers and their touch and speed of thought were just too slow. Also several times he bought a few seconds with a dummy or a faint looking for someone to move for him and our front players were just static.
Get Hendrick further forward and a proper top class striker in the team and we'll see how good Brady can be

Thought we had a very good 1st half and should have been at least one or two up. The key is taking your chances when you're on top. All credit to Koeman though. Bringing on Enner Valencia was the difference. He seemed to upset the balance of our back 4
Heaton 8 - Mostly solid and unlucky to conceed 3
Lowton 7 - One great ball in 1st half which was begging to be headed home.
Mee 8* MOM - Good game. So unlucky to conceed an OG.
Keane 7 - Loses a point for getting too close to Lukaku who said thank you very much and was past him in a flash.
Ward 8 - another very strong game from him
Brady 7 Possibly his best game for us. Is starting to get back to playing with a touch of swagger. I do get concerned though when he concedes possession when we have men going forward. Does neeed to learn how to retain the ball in certain situations.
Hendrick 7 - solid but not inspiring
Barton 7 - Had a very good game and had a real old tussle with Sniderlying.
Boyd 6 - Huffed and puffed and so much a part of our formation. Just doesn't have the pace anymore to hurt teams when he has the ball.
Barnes 6 - Quiet game for Ash. Saving himself for next week?
Vokes 7 - Had a glorious chance 1st half when Jagielka fluffed a back pass but just completed the back pass

+1 for a very smooth penalty.

Heaton 7
Lowton 7 (fluffed some decent crossing chances again, but defensively good)
Mee 8
Keane 8
Ward 7 (as Lowton)
Barton 7
Hendrick 7
Brady 8
Boyd 7
Vokes 7
Barnes 7 (never looked like getting under anybody's skin yesterday, including the referee's surprisingly)
Subs n/a but good to see Ageyi given some time and I actually thought he did well and showed some promising touches.
Yet another game that we were well in and could easily have been leading before we seemed to become architects of our own downfall. Switched off and very poor marking at the corner for the first goal and a simple ball given away unnecessarily for the crucial second. We're not far away imo and despite some on here wanting to state otherwise we are FAR more attacking away from home than we once were and we ARE trying to take the game to teams, even good teams like Everton who had already won 7 on the bounce at home. I'm pretty sure we won't win away all season, but IF (big IF) we manage to stay up that will have to change next season. I'm not sure what more SD can do with what he has at his disposal just now. It's a case of hoping we're still in the PL next time and recruiting better players who can turn these maybes and nearlys into wins at this level.

A really good performance which left me, in defeat, feeling happier than the recent draws against Boro and Sunderland.
Heaton 7 A typical performance...nowt he could do with any of the goals
Lowton 8 Seemed to enjoy a degree more freedom - what a cross in the first half! He `ll be absolutely fine next season
Keane 7 Of course he`s a brilliant player but a little lackadaisical (in my opinion) recently.
Mee 8 A flawed colossus but the flaws seem to be less and less evident. Wouldn`t want to see a Burnley team without him.
Ward 8 typical Ward. No words needed recently. A must for next season.
Boyd 7 thought he was OK
Barton 7 good stuff then meh stuff but always involved (unfortunately in their killer 2nd)
Hendrick 7 look SO much better when Dyche gives him the licence to get forward.
Brady 7 looking more like it and seemed a hell of a lot more confident
Vokes 7 two spurned opportunities but a well-taken penalty
Barnes 7 did what he does
